Oh, I see. I kind of like those types of stories as well. For me personally, I like romance anime with a good side story; you can recommend me ones if you have any. Purely romance can be fun as well, like Tsuki ga Kirei, but I usually prefer romance anime with a good side story or vice versa, a non-romance anime with a good romance. That's probably why I really like My Dress-up Darling (I'm looking forward to season 2 :D); while I love the relationship between the two main characters and the characters themselves, I also enjoy the slice of life moments from each individual goal or hobby, like Hina doll from Gojo and cosplay from Marin. It feels natural that there's another worry besides romance for the story so the relationship doesn't feel dragged (I hope so) because sometimes in romance anime the progression seemed really dragged with forced drama, comedy, or nothingness. It's also refreshing that while they're in high school, the setting rarely happens in a school because of their hobbies.

Another example is Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu; there's romance and cosmonaut stuff. I see you haven't seen Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu. So, if you're still looking for one to watch, I recommend it. Though there's no romance tag on it on MAL, the romance is really prominent. Also, the main heroine is really cute in my opinion, especially if you like tsundere; she's non-violent if you're wondering.

Speaking of Higehiro, what do you think of the open ending to their romantic relationship (I didn't read the source material, but I don't think there's going to be an anime sequel) or the open ending in romance anime in general? I still really enjoyed the show overall, but I was hoping for a conclusive romantic relationship, as I was rooting for Sayu and Yoshida. I don't really mind an open ending in general, but for romance series, I usually like more of a conclusive ending relationship-wise, or they're a couple early on, like Tonikaku Kawaii :)
