If the stage play aspect of either shows was something that you enjoyed about it, I definitely suggest the other. Mars red has a far more "stage like" presentation as a whole, with it's story telling and even dialogue at times being similar to what you would see in a Shakespeare drama script, while oshi no ko dives into the creation of a stage play from the producers perspective, and does a fantastic job displaying the peak of modern theatre presentation. Both in their own way bring an aspect of stage plays to life in an authentic way, so if that seems interesting to you, check both of them out.

World building is a very strong aspect of both series, that much is obvious, but I am surprised that no one talks about how similar the 2 show's world building style/strengths really are. Dungeon is just a different flavour of abyss, a long downwards spiral, where each layer has it's own ecosystem, all of which interconnects into a certain masterfully played out cohesiveness, that makes the setting feel more "real" than most other fantasy. If you look at the cooking scenes in made in abyss in particular, it becomes painfully obvious how they both go about world building the exact same way. So if you are a fan of the world building in either shows, DEFINITELY give the other one a chance,

Spies in a European setting fighting a war unknown the rest of the world. while every mission is it's own small ark or episode, there is certainly an overall plot development to look forward to. sounds interesting? well that synopsis describes two amazing series. one is a top tier character driven comedy with some serious moments and action here and there, and the other is a story driven steampunk thriller with tons of tragic moments that still makes you laugh with it's extremely well written character interactions. the way I see it, princess principal is kind of like spies x family's more serious older sister. Both of their production is nothing short of masterclass, Although I do think princess principal has the slight upper hand in that aspect, specially with the music. but again, both shows are absolutely amazing, and I suggest you watch both of them. ps: Trust me and watch princess principal dubbed, and spy x family subbed. that is by far, at least imo their better version.

Both highlight the story of a broken man who tries to deal with his past. Both are not needed yet welcome additions to their original story that add a whole new layer to that said story. and they both have a TOP tier soundtracks. Keep in mind though, while steins;gate 0 is a flawed adaptation that does as many things wrong as it does right, Nomad is a near perfect sequel that is even better than the first season of megalo box.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Movie 3: Hangyaku no Monogatari

Both are mysteries with the idea of wtf happened to the world? what's going on? and why is the world so different? both of them end with a major twist and a satisfying answer to the mystery. and both of them have top tier directing. although if I was to pick, I think the disappearance movie is easily the better one out of the two. specially because of the bad pacing/info dump at the end of rebellion. madoka magica movie 3 is one of my favorite anime movies, but at the time of writing this, disappearance is the second best thing i have seen in anime as a whole, so watch it if you haven't (after the t.v series of course)

it's obvious that this movie has taken a ton of inspiration from castle in the sky. is it as good as it? no, not by a long shot, but it's a still fun watch that doesn't involve much thinking. and to it's credit, it does have a good few original ideas.

they are both time travel stories that explore the consequences of messing with the past. while the slow burner start and more complexity of steins;gate makes it the better time travel show, link clicks easy to understand but clever concepts make it by far the easier watch. they also both involve very clever twist and turns that make you always want to click the next episode.

they both involve emotional yet personal stories about other people, while the main cast are spectating it. the setting is wildly different but if you want a show that gives off the same kind of emotional stories this is for you. death parade is about judging those stories and people, but link click is about experiencing what those people went through. both of them have a sense of tragedy, and are also thrillers. both of them are also extremely well researched and are episodic while also having a bigger plot. although there is a small difference in that plot, in death parade the bigger plot is about the characters, but in link click the bigger plot is a murder mystery.
