Both have MCs that become super strong after training and are unaware how strong they are. And both learn to "use magic the wrong way". Not exactly same, but very similar style of humor.
OP MC that is "brain dead" and is completely ignorant to how strong they are. This however, brings a lot of funny situations that made me enjoy both shows. The fun factor makes them memorable and rewatchable (I rewatch around 5% of anime I watch, it is not a masterpiece, but it is a funny/enjoyable show).

The protagonists are very different, but the gangster/bosozoku theme is the same. Beelzebub has proper badass mc and bit of supernatural powers leaking into normal world. On top of that, it also has comedy and doesn't take things too seriously. If you want to see crybaby grow and become strong then this is not for you. However, if you want to see badass fights among school gangs,.. Then beelzebub hits the spot.

It's similar in the way that both protagonists focus on one thing and whole series is about it. Shinchou Yuusha takes more comedy/parody approach while goblin slayer has much darker theme.

Both are Chinese. Both have good magic systems and cultivation. Both MCs start as losers but become OP. Both focus on study/relationships/families/cultivation. Both have light comedy/romace style.
