As someone who waited for more World Trigger since the first season, these last 2 cours have been nothing short of fantastic overall. Gone are the days where character models were a bit off and animation a bit sketchy, and now everything feels just right!
If you are a fan of World Trigger, then you owe it to yourself to watch this season. Much like the second season, this season's animation has been quite on point, but these last couple of episodes and some of the highlights, which I won't mention, have had stellar animation. Animation that rivals that of Ufotable's from my perspective. The plot
...
continues advancing forward with more rank wars, more great characters that help with world-building, deeper stories with emotional attachments and non-stop action except for down times.
The sound fits well overall with the action and animation on display. If there's one way to sum things up, it would be that this is a must-watch season for any World Trigger fan due to the incredibly enjoyable experience! Here's to hoping that we get more seasons once the source gets more material.
I'll be waiting!

For starters, if you plan to watch this special, then you are quite acquainted with Mahouka and the various anime that have already come out in previous years. What this special did was shed a lot of light on the relationship between Tatsuya and Miyuki and how it evolved to its current state. A lot of background information was also provided, and some rather important characters made an appearance as well. To say more would be spoilers, so I'll refrain from going further.
The art and sound were just great overall, and anyone who knows anything about Mahouka should have an idea of how things will
...
typically progress when Tatsuya is involved, so no surprises there either. All in all, while somewhat predictable, it was still quite enjoyable to see the progression and finally get to the heart of the character that is Tatsuya.
Would definitely recommend for any Mahouka fans!

Nanatsu no Taizai is back yet again with its awesome array of colorful characters. Coming off the heals of Kamigami no Gekirin which felt disappointing for the fans, Fundo no Shinpan feels like a breath of fresh air in comparison. The story progresses forward at a decent pacing and huge revelations are in store for anyone who decides to watch this sequel. There has also been lots of info dumps which help with world building. You could say we are hitting the climax soon, if not already!
As mentioned, all the great characters are back including the great Escanor (haha) which is a treat considering
...
how well they all mesh together. Also, let me just say that Merlin is a badass and wish she got even more of the spotlight considering the pivotal role she plays in this series. Animation is better than the previous sequel and the sound is alright; nothing to write home about. I would say the best thing about this sequel is trying to piece together the mystery and being excited to see how things progress, even if some of them seem obvious.
All in all, if you enjoy the characters, are still interested in the story and don't mind average animation/sound, fundo no shinpan is just the right fit!

If you're a fan of the first season of Dr. Stone, then you have to give the second season a try. The second season picks up right where the first season stopped and is full of action since the first episode. All our favourite characters are back, including the quirky ones (isn't this almost all of them? haha). The animation is still on par with the first season as well as the sound and general approach to the series.
Story is still progressing at a decent pace, but there is still much left to be told and if the OP is anything to go by, then
...
there are a lot more surprises in store for us as the kingdom of science advances forward. After all, they have a lot of the basic tech in place so it's only going to get much BIGGERRRR!!!!! Overall, still an enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend any fans to watch!

I don't write many reviews, but I felt that the score for this anime was so astoundingly low that I just had to write a review to do it some justice and counter some of the negativity that I've read about it. So, let's get started.
The concept of this anime is very simple. Our MC dies and gets revived in another world as a child with powerful physical abilities as well as the affinity to master all elements. The deities who helped him with the revival want him to just enjoy his life and do whatever he wishes. He has no obligations, no responsibilities, nothing.
...
Just have fun! It's not a complicated story meaning that anything goes and you watch our MC slowly climb his way through society using his experience from his earth life as well as the research he's conducted for several years in this new world.
Animation can be really great at times too. Overall, it's average or above average. There were no major flaws that I recall, except maybe in several scenes in the final episode which caught my eye as I was watching it. Likewise, sound is fine and nothing to write home about. It hits the right note and meshes well with the animation. OP was great imo and was something that I rarely skipped while the ED was ok and nothing spectacular.
Characters are just fantastic all around. Lots of positivity and support for our MC and we see his understanding of the world grow as he meets more and more characters. Furthermore, we see how his previous earthly experience plays a role in how he conducts himself through his internal monologues. Only thing that would have made it a bit better is having a bad character pop in their head and get their just dessert, but in the grand scheme of things, it's not a major concern.
All in all, this is quite the relaxing anime. Thus, it can be really enjoyable knowing that conflicts will be solved in due time and that our characters all support each other through thick and thin.

Having read the webtoon ages ago and only remembering certain key points of it, I decided to dive in despite reading all about the pacing issues or how bad this show was. Ironically, it ended up being a hell of a lot better than other webtoon shows that aired recently. I'm looking at you, The God of High School and made me feel nostalgic for the day when I read the manhwa.
The thing about Noblesse is that you have to watch the OVA first because that provides you a view into the overall situation and a good starting point for the story. I don't
...
have much to say about either the OP or ED, but Rai is exactly how I pictured he would be. Elegant, charming, soft spoken etc... He's the kind of character that you want to be the MC. Just his presence there radiates badass and really dials things up a notch. Once you add in Frankenstein, you already have a golden pair. You honestly can't hate this duo especially when you get feed more information about who they are, their motivations and how things came to be.
The pacing is also pretty fair, but they could also speed things up a notch. There is a lot of information out there considering the manhwa is over 400 chapters at least (only read so much of it) and a faster pace wouldn't hurt much so long as they keep the major scenes which to my limited knowledge, they have. Information dissemination has been pretty great so far and it feels like the story has been shaping up nicely.
The animation seems pretty alright and doesn't detract from the experience either from my perspective. The only thing that the story will suffer from later on is being a bit repetitive, but this was also a webtoon that was released a long time ago and would've benefited greatly from airing in past years. Still, if you like great MCs, fantastic fight scenes, and are ok with a bit of repetitiveness as an interesting story opens up, then Noblesse is for you!

If you've watched any of the previous seasons of BnHA, then you know what to expect by this point. The animation is still pretty decent and seems on point. At least, nothing has stood out aside from a goofy moment or two. VAs seem on point as well. The usual characters are back with all their glory and we'll be getting some interesting developments for some of the favourites moving forward. We already have seen some developments and a lot of reveals so look forward to more of that.
The current arc should also be great for anime-only watchers and will have you feeling a wide
...
range of emotions as our heroes try and navigate their way around society, realizing that things are not as easy as anticipated. After all, society is quite complex.
All in all, this has been a great watch so far!

Ah Takagi-san, quite the spectacle to watch. When the first season aired a while back, it seemed like it would be just another anime. Thankfully, I was mistaken and it really delivered. If you've watched the first season, you would understand what I mean. What made this anime so great was the way it conducted itself and brought forth such raw emotions as you watched two kids have the time of their lives.
In this day and age when the focus is centered on having the best art quality at times, Takagi-san might not be the best there is, but the animation itself holds up well.
...
Sound is pretty decent too, but what really makes it stand out among a sea of similar anime is the characters. You can't help, but love the characters and their faults. You have Takagi who's always doing the teasing while Nishikata is always on the receiving end despite doing his best to prevent them.
While each episode follows a simple formula and one can easily conclude that Nishikata maturing a bit and ignoring provocations or grudges would help him greatly, it's also pretty honest in how things are presented. The anime is episodic in nature in the sense that there are various stories presented in each episode, but there are still some small developments along the way and previous events are referenced to help maintain some form of continuity.
All in all, if you want a relaxing quality anime where two kids are trying to outwit each other, this is the anime to try!

So, I typically don't review anime that I haven't finished or ones that I dropped because there is a chance that I missed something that happened later or that the anime just wasn't for me, but something about this anime really irked me to the point where I stopped watching it months ago, and when I thought about trying to continue watching recently, I couldn't. For starters, I'll try to avoid spoilers, but I have to spoiler one small part to explain why this anime was bothersome.
The art, and sound are typical of anime of this generation, neither being spectacular nor terrible in my opinion.
...
I'm someone who isn't bothered by old anime, and rather enjoy watching them so I'm pretty bias there, but for the purposes of this review, I'd say they were fair at best. The characters overall are fine too. They all have their archetypes that they stick to, and they fit their mold well. They aren't anything out of this world good, but they do a good enough job of driving the story forward in a pretty reasonable direction. I don't think I had a problem with any characters. Kazumi joking around was fun to watch, and how everyone meshed together by utilizing their advantages during a game.
Before I go further, spoilers are up ahead. You have been warned!
Now, the story starts out typical with the team forming, and old friends reuniting in their bid to advance far and become champions. You get the characters practicing together, helping each other out, all the camaraderie that comes with it as well as just episodes where they are relaxing. All usual for the course, and of course, you have Kubo who personally made me drop this anime. He's a talented player who's going to be great, and we are led to believe that he will aside from little indications that say otherwise. That would've been all fine and dandy, but what happened when they faced Kakekita in the semifinals was a bit too much.
As the story goes, Kubo ended up burning himself out passing 11 players and scoring a fantastic goal that helped the team. He was a good team member who was a beacon of hope and admiration, but this idea of him dying on the field after he's been avoiding treatment for leukemia to play soccer was just too unrealistic and hard to swallow. No one seems to have known if I recall properly, and he's been ignoring the advice from his doctors if I again recall properly. In essence, he sacrificed his whole life for the purpose of scoring a single goal to help the team won, but then they lost badly in the finals.
You may say that's passion, sure, but there's a limit to that and this was far from it. Anyways, he died, everyone's sad, and for sure, it's quite a sad time. But this was a bit too much for me to swallow considering that he should've realized the value of living to continue playing and helping advance the sport. He could've still been there to provide advice and support for the team during tough times, but he made his decision. I didn't watch much past this point because the anime felt like it started going downhill story wise, and this death was a bit much.
Now, did I enjoy the anime otherwise? Sure, I didn't mind much else, so if you're someone who's able to overlook this, you'll probably enjoy this anime too. If you're someone who just wouldn't be able to, it's best you just move along and forget about this anime.

I've seen people knocking this anime because they feel that it falls short of the other anime Isekai Shokudou which aired a while ago. Both animes do have a lot of similarities, but this anime does have some differences that imo, make it at least on par, if not superior at times. One of the best thing is the continuity and the ending. For starters, this anime takes place in the same land so we always get to see some kind of continuity with the usual guards or others coming in compared to Isekai Shokudou where the door opens to different worlds all over.
The characters
...
are great in both anime, especially with the addition of Eva here. Compared to customers seeing a random door and deciding to open it to see what's up, this anime has customers hearing about the restaurant's reputation, coming in to try it and leaving surprised as ever. There's a feeling of caring for the customers in both anime and they both have their share of good stories (Isekai Shokudou gets a bit of an edge here imo).
The animation, art and sound overall are quite comparable though at times, I've felt that Isekai Izakaya has more realism attached to it due to the way some of the interactions take place. Not to mention that most characters are human in some way or form while we have monsters and all kinds of fantasy creatures in Isekai Shokudou. Dishes just look fantastic in both and will make you want to try them!
Finally, while this anime does have less airing time since it airs every 2 weeks at about 20 minutes compared to the weekly 20 minutes of Isekai Shokudou, this anime presents a little segment called NobuPlus where they focus on showing the cooking of certain dishes and provide some information about restaurants that cook that specific dish. While it's obvious that Isekai Izakaya is doing some advertising especially with the Japan logo at the end, it's still a fun watch overall and shouldn't be a deterrent.
In my opinion, if you're a fan of food anime, you owe it to yourself to at least watch several episodes of this anime.Don't let the score dissuade you and make your own decision on whether this lives up to your expectations or not!
