Both have strong female protagonists who do not need the male leads to save them all of the time. Both of the main male leads are also rich and fall in love with the female protagonist first.

Although both of the plots are nothing alike except for the fact that each fall into the fantasy genre and are pretty slow paced, they both gave me a very similar vibe. Both anime are extremely relaxing and just joyful to watch. While watching Kemono no Souja Erin, I was having a rough time irl and I fell in love with this anime because of how it relieved my anxiety and let me escape to this beautiful, magical world. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Kemono no Souja Erin, so if you liked the feeling Kobato gave I extremely recommend you to watch this anime.

Both of the anime fall into magical/fantasy type genre. Both are hella good, but also kinda childish. I definitely recommend reading Gakuen Alice instead of watching it though because they have pretty different plots, the anime is kinda slow paced, and the anime does not have the manga's amazing ending. I definitely recommend the manga, but the anime is very relaxing and cures your depression lmfao

Both anime are shoujo anime about girls struggling throughout their careers in the movie/play industry (ig that what it called). Glass no Kamen is more serious than Skip Beat and does not have the weird-ish sense of humor, but in my opinion it is one of the best shoujo anime I have watched. Both of the mangas are still unfinished, but both are still worth reading.

Both are super cute anime with magical girls. Both have great stories and seem very lighthearted and fun at the beginning, but turn darker towards the ends of the series. I definitely recommend reading the manga for Sugar Sugar Rune after watching or closer to the end because it is way more interesting and a lot darker.
