Manga 'Bad Girl' Gets TV Anime

An official website opened for a television anime adaptation of Nikumaru's Bad Girl manga on Friday, revealing the main staff and a teaser visual (pictured above).

Nikumaru began serializing the school comedy manga as a guest on the Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine from December 2020 to February 2021. The manga began regular serialization in the same magazine the following March. Houbunsha shipped the third volume in August 2023, with the fourth volume scheduled to be released on July 25.

Synopsis
Yuu Yuutani, a first-year high school student with sharp eyes, large piercings, and flashy two-tone hair, is not a well-known bad girl who everyone makes way for. She is actually a very good girl at heart, and her mind is always full of thoughts of the school's Madonna, Atori Mizutori. Wanting to attract the attention of the disciplinary committee chairman Atori, Yuu decides to quit being an honor student and become a "bad delinquent!" A school comedy depicting the struggles of a slightly foolish self-proclaimed delinquent is about to begin! (Official Site, translated)

@Yubisoft I think the person just misunderstood your statement that LekoReko gave this new impetus for such shows as a statement that it literally created this type of show. I myself have encountered similar contextual misunderstandings several times in the past, so it seems to me that this is exactly the case.

@EcchiGodMamster @CocoaGalaxy Obviously, this is a CGDCT yonkoma with all that it implies. You can hardly expect anything different from a magazine from the Manga Time Kirara family.

Curious. I have no idea what I'm looking at but. So its a school girl comedy, basically a cute girls anime. Or is it?
The visual isnt like immediately gorgeous but it is curious enough to look out for

EDIT: At first I thought this was an original but its a manga apparently soo

Please learn to read I said the success of Lycoris Recoil not that Lycoris Recoil as an anime started this trend. So many good examples of this type of anime and you have put Bocchi the Rock as a good anime example.? , sorry I can't take you seriously anymore .

and from what you are saying you don't know it at all and is just talking bs, every single Kirara manga is a Slice of Life CGDCT.
you say Lycoris ruined anime when K-On, New Game, Yuru Camp, Gakkougurashi, Bocchi the Rock etc etc, came years before Lycoris and all by same publisher? Make your researches before talking please

@Ryushindai I know it ....and supposed to prove what? ..... how that changes the fact that this will most likely be a failure like Metallic Rouge and by that I mean : an anime with bunch of well designed girls together , with half baked plot , poorly written with zero substance characters and half baked comedy just appeal some yuri maniacs ? Lycoris Recoil's success ruined the industry .

@Yubisoft I haven't read the manga, but judging by the chapters available online, it's a typical all-female high school comedy where people start spamming "lol where's the yuri tag" after one chapter where the characters get along well.

@Tropisch I would say that this is more 100% moe than some bait. But we both know that discussion of a manga like this will be completely filled with discussions of how cute the characters are together within a couple of episodes, lmao.

How are people supposed to be interested in this when there's no trailer or description of what it's about? Seems like another Yuri bait show just looking at the characters though. Yup, checked what little there is about this, it's low quality Yuri stuff, it's just the girl's blushing over each other over random stuff.
