Thousands of years ago, there existed those gifted with the power of God. Their mission: to destroy the ominous evils that lurk in the darkness known as "Akuma." Led by the Milenium Earl, Akuma seek to destroy fragments of "Innocence," the only weapons capable of harming the Earl and his army and bring about the Great Flood from a hundred years ago. To prevent this tragedy from happening, the Black Order was formed as an organization dedicated to fighting the Earl. They recruit Exorcists, those with the inherent ability to accomodate Innocence, to fight against the Akuma. In the late 19th century, Allen Walker—a white-haired boy armed with Innocence that takes the form of his entire left arm and a cursed eye that can see Akuma—is sent to the Black Order. There, Allen meets various comrades from the Order—the mercurial Yuu Kanda, the kindhearted Lenalee Lee, and the cheerful yet mysterious Lavi. Despite their different personalities, they have one goal in mind: to bring salvation to the souls of Akuma and prevent the Earl from destroying the world. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
In the Gokuraku district—a melting pot of humans, beastmen, and now mermaids—Tao and Alma, a pair of self-proclaimed jack-of-all-trades troubleshooters, are the people to contact when a problem needs fixing. Although motivated by money, food, and Tao's mood, they have a hard time saying no to meek little mermaid Nene and her pleas for help. The duo finds themselves tasked with rescuing Nene's sisters, who are forced to sell their bodies in order to pay off their debts incurred from buying the expensive medicine that allows them to retain their human forms. Far from being beacons of justice and morality in this ruthless world, Tao and Alma simply do as they please. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Kekkai Sensen centers around the crime-fighting organization "Libra" and their battles in Hellsalem's Lot, formerly known as New York City. Hellsalem's Lot was created in a single night when a portal to the "Beyond" opened, and now it is a paranormal melting pot of monsters, magic, and the everyday mundane city life. It's up to Libra to prevent the horrors of this city from spreading to the outside world. When mild-mannered Leonard Watch arrives in the city, he's inducted into Libra and things spiral out of control from there. (Source: Wikipedia)
A month has passed since a declaration of peace, and, ever since then, the big city disposes of trash outside its walls—including the expendable humans. Every day, the hungry scour the heap of waste for food. Among them is the young, brave ex-soldier Orga, together with his sister Harika, who gives him the strength to persevere. The siblings, along with Orga's best friend Nick, barely scrape by. Orga collects potentially valuable junk to save enough money and provide the three of them with a comfortable life away from the impoverished streets. But while Orga works, Nick intends to accelerate their salvation; he proposes a plan to Harika—one that only she can execute. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
