Just a toxic relationship, it's not okay an adult have feelings for a teenager.
Sometimes it's kinda cute, but, he's really manipuling that girl, their history it's only a romanticism about things that is not okay. Their story is very predictable and the characters too, they don't have a development that attracts attention, more than their protagonists are toxic in their idealizations and how they expect the other to be. And, in both cases it is wrong. I think they could have handled the age difference problem better, but it was just hidden "romance" manipulation case. When you get down to it, its premise is technically and honestly kinda creepy and weird given the age gap of the two main characters in this romantic comedy. However, I unironically like it. The humor is pretty spot-on, especially when the romance is heavily one-sided (as of yet) and constant rejections are afloat. The manga makes use of the funny shenanigans you'd expect of the fictional romcom genre (or any anime/manga really), so no wonder hilarity ensues.
Even then, the manga is pretty cute and heartwarming in its own way, as the relationship dynamics of each character have so far been fairly pleasant to ... |
