This rec is for ch5-7 and Bokura ch3-4: A young teenage boy with an absent father figure and a useless mother figure, finds solace in the company (and home) of an older male who takes pity on him bc of his fragile state of mind.

This rec is for ch 3-4 of Bokura. A very kind and caring older man takes in a uke who he feels sorry for (due to his circumstances). What really made me rec these manga, tho, is how similar the uke's family circumstances are - being rejected by his own family for being born as who he is.

This rec is for ch 3-4 of Bokura. Both these stories have the same plot - an older male stumbles upon (literally) a cute and young man lying on the street, in desperate need of help. He eventually takes him home and lets him stay with him in his house. Bonus: The uke makes a move on the seme first.

They both have the same creator, Kyuugou. If you loved one of these two, you'll like the other too. These both are light shounen-ai, even though ACID TOWN has more darker themes in it.

If you are game for some bl and slice of life manga, these are two reads you should definitely check out. Both Bokurani and Sugarmilk share the same type of light comedy and a more boyish type of love; works that aren't studded with romance, but a lighter tone of love.

Life -- and high school first love -- after baseball. Both series have protagonists with a sporty background they've had to ditch for their current lifestyle, and have a similar slightly awkward but wonderfully earnest approach to the romantic aspect.

Both have similar plots about drifting friendships and sports.

Both are collections of shounen ai/yaoi oneshots. Both are really great.
