Recommendations

Both manga focus on a MC male lead that cope through depression through a love interest.

Though the genders are swapped, there's someone who has shut themselves off and is struggling mentally. A new face comes into their life and changes it for the better, love begins to blossom between each couple and it's quite wholesome with a touch a drama.

The female lead both are similar to each other very much.

same historical romance, but drama in taishou otome otogibanashi

Both coming of age-ish kind of story, also it develops more serious undertone as the story goes on.

Stories about loneliness and depression, and eventually healing.

Both about a couple who are planning to get married soon. will give you heartwarming feelings and make you smile. and will kill you single handedly if you are single like me.

Both are adorable and lighthearted romances where the two MCs suddenly get married/engaged and live together. The stories follow the post-marital/soon-to-be-married lives of the couples as they learn more and more about each other and fall more and more in love. Both contain some of the cutest, most wholesome romance imaginable that'll leave you with a cozy feeling and an uncontrollable smile. No harem, hardly any conflict or unnecessary drama, just couples that love each other to the moon and back. I suggest both of these beautiful series to individuals who need their cold, long dead hearts warmed up and revitalized. Can't believe this recommendation hasn't  read more

The female lead marry into a house she doesn't know, but eventually falls in love with her husband. They have a cute story how two people realize their feelings to each other.

Historical stories about arranged marriages with a rural setting and a quietly kind and hardworking female lead.

The male protagonist doesn't feel worthy or believe that the female lead likes him. They are both set in or near the Taishou era. There is a similar mix of comedy and serious situations, and they art styles of both are a little different than usual.

Very innocent and pg love of a girl who's not really in the market for romance, but is a "cut" above the rest despite a social ranking ridden with debt. They're innocent yet refreshingly not forever naive as they both have missions to make the most of their shitty situations. Both are heavily reliant on the historical aspect, and seem to be strictly a pure PG romance despite toeing the line of wife (or oiran) duties. An easy and light, low priority read that is quite informative.

Both feature a young girl sold as a slave developping Stockholm syndrome. Involve a lot of romance.

Both have cute girls in kimono in the Taisho era. TOO is more of a slow love story whereas Chirori is a beautiful depiction of a coffeeshop with few words needed to convey daily life.

Extremely similar wholesome feel, with similar female protagonists and surrounding characters. Only difference is that Ikoku Meiro no Croisee lacks romance.

Showa Otome is the "Sequel" to Taishou Otome. While distinct from one another the two tackle similar themes of depression, family struggles, and love.
