Story: The story itself is...a little shaky, but, what the hell is a fun-fun ecchi manga! Even if you arnt really ecchi you'll probably dislike the manga completely, if you dont like ecchi, but your a fan of Yuri...or cross dress/transsexuals, and we know i am, then you'll enjoy this series just as much as the ecchi lovers~ If your afried of some bloody ecchi stuff stay away from this as it gets pretty nasty in some panels

Art: To me the art is just great, even the panty/bra shots are wonderful, you can see the details, I know ecchi fans will love it, if a ... ecchi fan doesn't, then i have no idea whats wrong with the world...

Characters: After reading the first volume, I cant say a lot about them, since I don't know alot about them... but ill try and break it down for you
- Lapan: Our hero...well, our perverted shinigami that doesn't know how to do his job right... If he wasn't a shinigami, he'd be your typical perverted high school boy with raging hormones...
- Alice: That pure, pure, cute girl that you just wanna violate over, and over, and over and...oh getting off topic, well shes cute, hawt, and cute as a button, same goes with her personality, until her spirit is transfered into a skeleton and Lapan takes over her body, then things get...Yuri...Hawt...Ecchi, and all perverted things your dirty mind can think off...MAIL ORDER PANTIES!
- Umenosuke Tsurukame: Oh what to be said about this... Transvestite? In the shinigami world hes a guy (I think) but when he travels to the human world to rescue Lapan, he transfers into a females body, so he can 'please' Lapan...its a huge Ecchi-fest at that part of the series...S/He also becomes a live-in maid for Alice and her dad...
- Alice's Dad: Look at Konata, Izumi's (Lucky Star) dad, but just more perverted, and possibly going to sexually assault his daughter...and thats Alice's dad...hes a widower and over protective... but I already explained that...

Enjoyment: If this was any more Enjoyable your nose would split and too and a demonic hand would spew out along with a ocean of blood and demons... but only if you enjoy ecchi, or yuri... Actually you WILL love this series, Its just so perverted, even the world's most moral person would love it

Overall: Its a great series, if you love perverted stuff, if you love yuri stuff, if you love hawt raw comedy and perverted yuri action, then you'll LOVE this manga series, if you can only read english, then you'll have to wait till March 08 for Vol 2 of this manga...

I think this could've been a great story if it continued.

I like the main cast of characters and like all the female designs. Especially Yoo Chun. I like the female form of his. It's honestly kind of attractive.

I also find Alice's original body to be pretty good also.

I do kind of feel bad for the actual Alice and want her to return to her original body. It's kind of sad to me when an attractive girl like Alice get's their body swapped with something like a Skeleton. At least it's not like one story I read a while ago where the girl stayed ... in the male body and that really annoyed.

At the same time, I want the dude in Alice's current body to stay in a girls body permanently. I don't know if that'd be the dude's original body being changed into a girl or what.

We do get some funny and cool moments. The art style is good and fits with the story really well.

Overall I think this is a pretty good story and I'm kind of sad this was cut short.

I'm probably too woke for this but I'll leave my thoughts anyways for future reference.

Accidentally picked up volume 1 in a thrift shop kids aisle during 5th grade and I've been traumatized ever since.

The story basically follows the Japanese equivalent of a Grim Reaper (Lapan) going to Earth to reap a soul but winds up trapped there AND in a girl (Alice)'s body..which causes plenty shenanigans due to the dude being a total pervert.

PROS:

Nostalgic 2000s artstyle, sick as hell body horror artwork, decent action scenes and lore at times, and a somewhat fun dynamic between Lapan and Alice. Alice was genuinely such a fun character ... to follow despite how stereotypically girly she was.

CONS:

Lack of proper content warnings (not even labeled as 18+ or anything..just "for Older Teens"), rape-y idealization, cultural appropriation (a character was portrayed very stereotypically Chinese despite being raceless or just Japanese I believe?), and blatant transphobia (If my media literacy is in tact, I'm pretty sure there's a canon t-girl with he/him pronouns that constantly gets called a crossdresser and slurs???), and tons of torn out pages in my copy (just a me issue :p)

So, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone except the extremely curious, 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂, and/or sick in the head individuals!

But that's just my opinion from reading vol 1 alone!!
