A student who studies in an elite famous school Mc's identity is unknown, we don't know much about him / mysterious The academy's system is similar, the way you live depends on success and intelligence

Set in school, the protagonist is sort of a loner with the some problems regarding human interactiong and regardless of being clever they have degrading views of other people ("normies"/"tools"). There is a also a a female character with long black hair that too has superiority complex towards other people. Those slightly disfunctional people then try to get through their school lives.

The protagonist of these light novels is someone who appears/attempts to appear as someone uninteresting and normal, and they just want to live a "normal life" - while they are actually highly abnormal existences that often throw off the plans of others with their thinking.

Both MCs are skilled manipulators focused solely on coming out on top no matter who they have to step over in order to do it.

Simply said, YouJitsu is basically if Baka to Testo was written not as a comedy, but wholy unironically - classes fighting each other to climb the rankings.

-Both MCs are extremely similar, as they are both calculating and manipulative + have ulterior motives for doing what they are doing -Both have a chapter / arc that is EXTREMELY similar, premise wise / with respect to their premise The first nine chapters of Oshi no ko is like a completely different series though, and serves as a prologue of some sorts

Both psychological games series with overpowered MC. Main difference is there is not super power system in Classroom of the Elite but the games/events are pretty similar.

(there is a button "read more") While the settings and personalities are totally different, there are still big similarities. :: Both Ayanokouji and Sora are experts in mind games. They can figure out how their opponents think, and act accordingly. They both are most of the time steps ahead by having counter measures which will make them win in the end. Both Light Novels don't explain what countermeasures they are preparing until the very end, where they explain how they predicted everything. :: Each volume introduces you to new characters, which involves around a new game (NGNL) / event (CotE). These games / events are becoming  read more

Protagonist are considered a 'Mob MC' which means they are trying to live a normal life even though they are jumbled up in the 'Main Story'. Protagonist isn't lawful-good natured in general but very manipulative and calculative in their actions, they choose the actions which leads to their benefits whether its morally right or wrong.

Set in an elite high school designed to nurture talented individuals and that the students are currently unable to leave, the focus of these stories is to outsmart, outmaneuver and outscheme other students to survive -figuratively in case of Classrom of the Elite, literally in case of Danganronpa.
