Both have a well executed supernatural aspect. They hit you in the feels at certain points and are heavy on the drama. Multiple love interests in Pinocchio with less romance and little bit of comedy while Ohayou, Ibarahime is focused on mainly "two" people and is much sadder.

Both deal with bonding with ghosts

Heroine is cute, waifu material Male lead was scared of heroine when he discovered her secret They have a happy ending. Difference is that Orange marmalade includes more characters and have a lot more chapter, Orange marmalade also resolve around school and has more difficult conflicts

Despite one beeing handycaped, a beautiful lovestory evolves, facing drama, hardships and character development. Both stories are charming, deep and completly underrated! (Keep in mind, that "Hidamari ga Kikoeru: Limit" is the sequel to "Hidamari ga Kikoeru: Koufukuron", whose prequel is "Hidamari ga Kikoeru".)

Substantial similarity both stylistically and in story structure (in addition to genre overlap, of course)

although the story and the universe are nothing alike, the main couple gives major kazehaya and sawako vibes!

I can't really say much without spoiling it but the stories have a lot of similar aspects and I loved both of them

It is similar because it is a slice of life where the protagonist wants to help the girl and has romance and drama. Have a small number of chapters

Finished romance story with a sprinkle of depression to spice things up :) Read after 1AM for maximum effect.

Guy falls in love with a girl with multiple personality disorder. Mahoraba has more of a comedic feel, while Ibarahime is more dramatic.

The protagonist has to deal with multiple personalities of his love interest.

I am honestly surprised no one has made this recommendation before. These two series have a lot in common. They are both drama romance series with a similar coming of age type story. I think that the way the main characters mature and develop their relationships with the people around them is particularly similar. The main difference between the two would be the heavier tone of Ibarahime, but even if that is normally not your thing I still think you should give it a shot.

Both mangas have a focus on the supernatural and relationships with loved one, there is slight romance in both but it isn't the most important part of the story as well as comedic relief. Both story lines are beautifully written.

They have a different story but for some reason while reading it, it reminds me of these manga, They're really good and really deserves their ratings. I don't have much to say on it but I think if you have read either of these you should try the other as well. So please give it a try.

Isshuukan Friends and Ohayou, Ibarahime are both romances between a very pure hearted boy who befriends a shy girl whose unique supernatural circumstances prevent her from socializing with other people.

Has a similar premise so whether you liked or disliked this manga Ohayou Ibarahime is much better regardless.
