Never wrote a review before, so I apologize if this isn't well-written. Since there's no reviews of this manga yet, I decided to give it a try to let some curious folks know what I personally thought of this story.
NOTE: I completed this manga a few months ago and I'm writing this review on the thoughts that I remember I had to this manga when I finished it. Can't really remember every detail of this story.

So I'm just gonna keep it short and blunt: I think this manga is sort of like a "cookie cutter" style romance manga. Nothing really different or unique about much ... of the story or characters. It was also kinda predictable. I guess the carpentry idea was different, but personally it didn't catch my interest.

Overall, I thought that this manga was... alright?? It was an OK experience for me, but I don't see myself rereading this... ever. Some moments were cute and sweet, but other times I kind of found myself getting bored and wishing for it to end already. I remember finishing this manga and my brain just went, "meh".

I suppose if you like a typical romance manga, you'd might enjoy it. If not, maybe this isn't for you.

I'm not sure about this manga. I've read a lot of shoujo manga and am used to the usual tropes but reading this manga makes me so frustrated. The dad interrupting them every time they are intimate was funny at first but as I read more it just got really really annoying. They can't even kiss without the dad threatening to fire the ML... They can't go on dates without him attending and it's honestly just so childish from the dad and so annoying. Now there is a stupid unnecessary love rival thrown in and I'm honestly considering dropping this manga and usually I power ... through and finish it to the end even if I don't enjoy some arcs.

The reason I'm still continuing is that despite all of the handicaps, when they do have intimate moments it's really cute and sweet and their relationship is so healthy and calming rather than the usual where the guy is really perverted or often mean. I enjoy all of the carpentry references they put in and it's refreshing not to have the usual high school life romance for once. It's still set during high school but the carpentry is the main focus rather than school which I really like.

Overall I would say to read this but it isn't the usual fluffy romance like most other manga where they are intimate all the time once they are dating. The parents are involved every chapter. If you don't mind that I would say to read it.
