Both have a plot where a young girl is sacrificed to become the Water God's bride. However, in BOTWG there is a more mature setting and the protagonists personalities and appearance differ from the SnH. Nevertheless if you like the premise of one, you might like the other. Both have beautiful artwork.

In both these manga's the heroine is transported to an world very different from their own. Both are betrayed and sold/sacrificed to a powerful magic user and become the bride of said magic user. Both the leading ladies have vibrant red hair and a desire to protect others. As for the male leads, they both know very little about emotions and have to learn human behaviour and to be more human themselves.

Both series have influences from the Little Mermaid story by Hans Christian Andersen, and both of them have isekai elements. The only difference is one is reincarnation and the other one involves being transported to another world. Both series also have Rei Touma doing the artwork, though she's also the author for The Water Dragon's Bride.

Both series revolve around girls who are separated from their homes, leading them to live very different lives, and are sacrificed for their country. Both have love triangles including the main love interest being cold and lacking understanding of love to begin with. Both heroines have pink hair and blue eyes and overall in personality remind me a lot of each other.

The male MC is very rational. The female MC shows the male MC the world of feelings, relationships and joy of life. Also, the male MC shows a romantic interest in the female MC.

Both of these manga's deal with the arranged marriage trope and a large age difference. They both have strong fantasy elements and both the male leads are inexperienced in love.

Both of the heroine's are transported from our world to another. In both stories the main couple go on adventures where they meet new characters and are faced with challenges. Both the male leads are immensely powerful, but stoic and have gorgeous long hair.

Although these manga differ in plot and characters, you have a setting of underwater life, where sea people live. Both have slice of life and romance. If you like one, you'll probably enjoy the other!

Both female characters get transported to another world not their own via water, and both fall in love with someone in that new world, while facing people who want to harm them.
