This is definitely a manga that needs more attention. Why should you read Madoromi?
This is a very wholesome manga. This is one of those stories where a guy has to take care of a little girl. Madoromi is a very curious girl and you will be reading and living all of her adventures at home and around her neighborhood.
Yes, there are out there similar mangas like this one, but what is Madoromi-chan ga iku good at?
It's easy to read! - It's very wholesome and slow paced slice-of-life story, you read each page and it doesn't matter if you read one chapter per week, ... you'll keep at it.
Cute character design - Yes, cute girl doing cute things. You'll quickly get to like all of the characters. However, besides Madoromi, the character design may be very simple but good enough for a story like this.

Drawbacks?
To put it simple: you won't read a solid story. That is, because this manga is completely slice-of-life and just about Madoromi being a daughter. Secondly, the manga is pretty short, so not a good long-term read; if you get easily disappointed because of a series length, then there is that.

So anyways, Madoromi-chan ga iku is a short, cute, very simple and wholesome manga; but sometimes you need just that, a simple manga to heal your soul.
