In Otomen, Ryo is a skilled and spartan girl trained by his father who is a police officer. She can't cook or sew. She's strong, and handles well the danger. Asuka on the other hand, is the captain of the kendo club, and he's really skilled in martial arts. But secretly, he sews stuffed animals, cooks delicious food, bakes cakes and cookies, and likes a lot of things considered girly. Like Shiro does for Mei, he makes the lunch for Ryo, and he likes her strength. Like Mei, Ryo admires the things that Asuka can do, and she is unable to do.

The similarities between Fuji and Ryuji don’t stop on their names, as they also are good at baking cookies, talk in a feminine way and have a crush on a strong well-liked female. Although the setting and the art style may differ, but they surely give the same vibe.

These don't exactly have the most similar stories, but I feel like the characters are kinda similar. They are both adorable and funny! Miyamura and Fuji both have long hair. (Even though Miyamura cuts his) Hori and Sengoku both are strong women. The art in these mangas are very alike, and I know if you enjoy this anime, you will enjoy Mizutama Honey Boy!

cute, effeminate, and careful boy dates with a girl without vanity

Mizutama Honey Boy and Heroine For Hire have the same set-up with the strong girl and the princess-y boy. However, Mizutama Honey Boy is more comedic and leans into the characters being gender non-conforming, while Heroine For Hire feels more along the lines of your average shoujo romance with the dynamics.

Both are cute romances between a masculine girl and a feminine boy.

Romance between a masculine girl and a feminine boy. Both manga analyze gender roles and stereotypes, although their conclusions are completely different.

Both stories feature tomboyish protagonists and feminine male love interests. Both are romantic comedies.

Both series feature feminine boys that fall for a girl. Although the personalities of the female lead are different, both manga give off a similar feeling especially in the aspect that the female leads are both reluctant to accept the feelings of the male lead. Both manga are relatively light-hearted and funny. If you like one, the other will probably be to your liking as well.

Shirou and Meguru have similar appearances and personalities, besides both are boys interested in makeup, fashion and all sort of feminine things. This makes both mangas give off a similar feeling, although the personalities of the female main characters are completely different, and Genderless Danshi ni Aisareteimasu is josei while Mizutama Honey Boy is shoujo.

In both of these manga there is a girl who is a natural lady killer that makes everyone around them fall for her. In both of these manga the roles of the boy and girl are seemingly reversed.

both have strong manly female lead who protect the main guy. every chapter is really hilarious and will hurt ur stomach! difference- # MHB has girly male lead but SOB has popular male lead # in MHB, guy falls in love first but in SOB girl falls in love first

Both series have a guy who likes the heroine, and doesn't want to give up. Both heroines are strong, and are both blunt. Differences are that the guy in namai is very masculine while the guy in honey boy is very feminine. Both are cute shoujos so if you like one youll like the other.

- They both have Strong Female leads who are boyish that cause the other females around them to fall for them or think that they're cool like a guy. - Hilarious misunderstandings. - In Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko, the girl MC confesses to the guy while in Mizutama Honey boy the feminine boy confesses to the manly girl - Both of these stories have the MCs trying to overcome the "friendzone" (In Tomo-chan, Tomo is the one having a huge crush on the Male MC, while in Mizutama, the Male MC is the one with a huge crush on (Sengoku) the strong female lead.

Both series are shoujo that take place in highschool. The guy plays basketball in harumatsu bokura, and in mizutama honey boy the girl is in the kendo club. Both are shoujo comedy so if you like shoujo you'll like either.

Same sense of humour and same art style. Mei Sengoku reminds me a lot of Seo/Kashima in terms of their personalities. Gekkan is funnier but Mizutama has more fleshed out characters and more of a linear plotline.
