These titles are about two powerful protagonists who stayed for the last few hours before the "END GAME" of the RPG they are involved in, but a twist of fate led them to still remain inside the game. If you were hoping for something with a bit more tragedy, and more emphasis on the game factor in the new gate, Real account is what you're looking for. It' focus is more on tragedy, humiliation and the dark shadows hidden in peoples hearts.So if youre squeamish, you might not like it.

Both have overpowered and wonderfully humble MC's. In both titles, emotions are natural (given the situations) and actions scenes are dynamic. Good stories, good art and great feels.

Both have a lot of fighting and action that include weaponry and sorcery. The difference is that "The New Gate" is about a powerful male lead thrown in a world that is assumed to be a different world. While "solo leveling" is about a male lead growing from being in a weak state in modern Japan that is being invaded by gates full of monsters behind them. In both cases, the mc utilizing features only accessible to him such as game-like menu.

These two manga's are a peas in a pod. A strong player living and fighting In a VRMMO as if it was real life, unable to log out. The similarity is outstanding. Yet The New Gate shows a totally different story right from the first chapter, if you enjoyed one, you will definitely enjoy the other.

The New Gate is a game come true but Id is rather about someone from a korean country ending up in a different world. Both graphic novels have a strong main character, in martial arts/swordsmanship/etc. And they travel to find a way back home.

Both needs to hide their true identity because it will cause too much trouble/confusion in the game-world that they are in.

The New Gate is about the main character getting stuck inside a virtual mmo after clearing it and repeating the game with new twists; while Tsuyokute New Saga is about the main character repeating the whole demon invasion after defeating the demon lord. Both were based on their respective Light Novel alternative.
