The feeling I got by reading it, was very similar to the one I got when I red Ayashi. Besides this, the character design of some of the characters [especially Mikage – XD even the name makes me think of it] also resembles a little to those from Ayashi. If you were bewitched by the supernatural elements, the powerful Gods and you wanted to see the misunderstandings that lead the following generations on a road of tragedy getting cleared you should give this title a try.

Different stories, but they have a similar feeling to them. Both are shoujo with supernatural/ horror themes (Kemonotachi has more blood...) . Also both stories go deeper than your average shoujo. Great red both of them!

These two manga are by the same author, and are thematically similar.

The art in NotB reminded me a lot of TCP--mostly the way the eyes were drawn and how the men have wide shoulders and skinny waists. The heroines are both strong fighting girls. Also, at the beginning of NotB, the people trying to eliminate the Black Demon kind of reminded me of the gangs in TCP. They are both exciting and dramatic manga. If you liked one, I think you'll like the other, even though NotB has some magical/supernatural elements and TCP doesn't.

Both are well crafted, heart wrenching and involve the protagonists' struggles to kill their beloved in an attempt to save the world.
