Both manga have a female protagonist surrounded by (mostly) males with an alternate animal form. She is also a central character in resolving their issues.

When I was reading watashi ookami kun I was immediately reminded of Inu Boku ss. The setting may not be the same but both mangas give the same kind of feeling and both male leads are part animal; One is a wolf and the other is a fox.The only big difference between these mangas is that Inu boku ss gets a bit darker.

-They're both supernatural reverse harems. -The male leads are able to transform into the usual Japanese folk creatures. -The male leads have a tragic past. -The female leads are brought into the supernatural world by mistake/fate. -The female leads both try their hardest to help out. -The art styles are both very similar; simple and delicately drawn.

Both manga are made by the same mangaka and have the same lighthearted romance feel to it. Both stories are centered around a girl befriending a group of guys and overcoming challenges together.

If you like the far-from-the-city lifestyle, and a bit of romance between spirit and human both of these mangas will suit you well. Hotarubi no Mori e is a one shot with a bit of a sad ending. It will make you feel the feels. Watashi no ookami-kun on the other hand is a light-hearted, school life kinda manga. They both have a relaxed enchanted atmosphere.

Supernatural elements and shape-shifters in these shoujos make them similar, these shojos have shape-shifter guys paired with a regular human girl. In each the girl finds out about the guy's secret and sees his other form. Sailor Fuku is complete.

In both Mangas, we have Animal Like protagonists who have interesting features and characteristics. I enjoyed reading both, the drawing style is pretty and the romance isnt too much either. So you might enjoy both of these Mangas too.

The story setup is basically the same, with a human falling in love with an animal that acts and looks like a human. Kirara is a one-shot though so there isn't much depth to it, however it still has beautiful artwork and is a very good quick read.

Ame to Yuki is almost like the prequel to Watashi no Ookami. Ame to Yuki involves wolf children growing up with regular humans, learning about their differences and where they fit in, controlling their transformations, and basically just finding out about life. On top of all of that the kids are doing this with a single mother because their wolf daddy died when they were just babies. Flash forward about 7-8 years and you get Watashi no Ookami the kids are still doing the same as before except now add in other transforming animals, throw a little love in the mix, and pretend that the  read more

These reverse harem shoujos have a girl who can see supernatural elements surrounded and protected by good looking - ikemen boys from the supernatural side where the guys are not fully human.
