My love affair with anime began in the late 90s, a time when the genre was just starting to gain traction in the West. It all started with the iconic series Sailor Moon, which quickly became my first major obsession. The enchanting storylines, memorable characters, and beautiful animation captivated my young heart. From there, I found myself diving into a treasure trove of other beloved series, including Pokémon, Cardcaptors, Inuyasha, and Naruto. Each show added a new layer to my appreciation for the art form, and I eagerly awaited each episode, often discussing them with friends and family.

However, as life often does, it got busy, and I found myself stepping away from anime for a significant period. From 2007 to 2021, I took a 14-year hiatus, convinced that I had moved on to other interests. But in 2021, everything changed when I stumbled upon a popular show on Netflix called Demon Slayer. The stunning animation, compelling characters, and gripping storyline reignited my passion for anime in a way I never expected. It was like rediscovering an old friend!

Eager to explore more, I subscribed to Crunchyroll and was thrilled to uncover a plethora of new favorites. Series like Yona of the Dawn, the 2019 adaptation of Fruits Basket, Noragami, and Jujutsu Kaisen quickly became staples in my viewing routine. Each new show brought fresh excitement and reminded me of the joy that anime had once brought into my life.

In 2022, after what felt like an eternity waiting for a new season of Yona of the Dawn, I decided to delve into the manga. The moment I opened the first volume, I was completely hooked! The storytelling and artistry in manga offered a different yet equally captivating experience. Since then, I’ve been on a non-stop reading spree, exploring various titles and genres.
