The first chapter seemed interesting, and it seemed like the MC was going to find a way to escape the island or get revenge. However, after a few chapters it turned into an only Ecchi plot with some hints of the real story. The story then was made to fit sex scenes into the series. Since this is the first review on this manga, I thought I'd introduce you, the potential reader, to its theme, tone and mood rather than focusing on specific areas and critiquing them.

This shit is so awful its insane.
For a story that starts off with a great hook and most importantly a great premise in the form of escaping an island it sounded like a great read for someone who's been reading trash isekai for a while and had a gem every now and then. However, this was not what I expected, the blatant input of sex scenes for no reason at all, the retconning to fit a new narrative, and above all, terrible terrible world-building and a terrible way of explaining everything in the story. I started this manga because of its horror and mystery genre. I thought this story was about the fight between the villagers and the outsiders. However, it was completely different in an interesting way. Leaving the sexual substance or service aside, the mystery in the story is actually fascinating. The MC developed from being a normal to special thank to the darkness of the island itself. That's why I give it 8/10 because the art is being drawn very beautifully and the story hasn't finished so it's too early to judge the plot. P.S: I'm not a fan of fan service in ...

If you're here for a sexy time, read chapter 8.5, 29 and the final chapter's ending. First sexy time in chapter 8.5 is the best. Funny thing is, MC did it with a side character who will have few significance to the plot. Second sexy time in chapter 29 is quite short, and uh... flat. So...Unfortunately, after reading every single chapter, the entire story just feels like a disjointed mess with ecchi stuff thrown into the mix. This is the story you gotta read for the plot. It is labeled smut, but it was really interesting sci-fi for mature audiences.
In some ways, it is similar to Higurashi When They Cry and Summertime Render. Some weird stuff goes on an island village that traps characters with no escape. I thought the story is really unique, I kept remembering it over the years. It scratched a really specific sci-fi itch for me. I liked it but I'm kind of a sucker for high concept manga that try unique plotlines. Objectively speaking without my personal tastes factoring into it, it's not that great and you should only read it if you have very specific interests.
