Before I write anything about this I want to say that I went into this manga 100% blind with no previous knowledge of it, and I honestly think that's the best way to go. I honestly think this is an absolutely fantastic series but not knowing the twist was something that genuinely surprised me and made something that I expected to be generic and uninteresting become much more engaging when the real plot began to develop. With that out of the way, I'll get on with the review.
Time travel isn't a new subject in Anime and it's definitely not done well all of the time,

Your Feelings Categories Oct 4, 2015 Saike Mata Shitemo (aka Psyche Mata Shitemo) sypnosis is quite misleading. You probably think this is going to be a redemption/ time-lopping manga, but that's actually the beginning of the story. This is about a guy with special power...And, yes, this is another ESP manga for you, but it's definitely NOT like some half-hearted ESP shows with screw-up logic (*cough*-Charlotte-*cough*). *I've read 15 chapters (including the latest) so far... Story: 9 The manga spends about 6-7 chapters on what its synopsis goes, and it did really well, and I felt it was even more relatable and realistic than other time-loop manga (i.e. ALL You Need is Kill). And, ... Mar 1, 2021
This is one of the best manga i've seen in a while, it truly is "special".
This is my second review, pardon me if i suck. (no spoilers) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Story 8/10 : The story is really good, it's about Saike, he doesn't have any dreams and motivation until his childhood friend, Mikan, go in deep trouble. So he does go insane, finding out the his secret power, reversing time. The plot is really cool, it seems to keep up it's greatness, and for now. It's really damn amazing, The plot development is good, it surpasses many mangas in the plots development, aka from funny to serious. The speed ... Apr 11, 2021
EDIT: As of March 1st 2022, I've finished the series, and upped my overall rating from a 9 to a 10. The series isn't without its flaws, but it has so much passion and depth to it that I can't help but love it, and I highly recommend it to everyone reading this review!
Saike Once Again is absolutely awesome. I don't know how so few people talk about this series, but I highly recommend it. The story is really good. The fact that the author was able to keep the series' premise interesting for 15 volumes is very impressive. I don't think there was a single ... Jul 16, 2024
For not being perfect, the heart, and soul from the manga kept me engaged all the way until the end.
A kid who's capable of drowning over 200 times just to convince somebody to change for the better. Just as a statement that's probably impossible to imagine. A fallacy, something I couldn't believe from someone like our protagonist Saike, a kid with a life of nothingness. He never tried changing his life, to interact with others, to mold his context to mean anything. No aspirations, no desire to do anything, until he's told somebody died, and he can save them by dying, not only once, ... Nov 4, 2023
Saike Matashitemo is Tsubasa Fukuchi's masterpiece. From the side characters with small parts all the way to the main characters everyone have interesting development and amazing interactions, it's an evolution from Law of Ueki which had more of a one piece/gash bell style of character dynamic; Saike Matashitemo is akin to something like Hoshi no Samidare or even Fullmetal Alchemist's type of character development. Tsubasa Fukuchi might be the third best mangaka in terms of "fights with cool powers" (only behind Araki and Togashi): the fights are smart, inventive and often have a comedic edge to them.
It's reassuring to see such a heartwarming series have ... Feb 24, 2022
I really can't understand the hype around this piece, it's just "meh" all around, the characters, their goals, the overarching plot, the art, everything really. Sadly it wasn't a forgettable "meh" but an annoying "meh". I found a review saying that this wasn't like your average ESP shounen manga but I really can't describe it as anything else.
The forgettable, but also overzealous (for no apparent reason?) kid in class gets super powers and uses it to achieve his goal (this time being justice). He usually isn't very strong by his own but with the power of friendship and perseverance he beats the bad guy. Also ... Mar 29, 2022
This manga is the incarnation of average. It has the cliche hero quotes and the power of friendship and perseverance. I really tried to like Psyche Matashitemo as i thought it was really good at the start but things went down hill real bad to the point that it became a chore to read because of how predictable the plot is, and don't get me started about the plot holes this manga has. for example, one of the antagonists of the manga has spent a really long time to achieve his goal , yet when he is almost at the goal , he decides to
