Both series deal with two guys who end up in magical situations by accident, one has a magic power of it's own tho', and one.. not. They get in to all kinds of situations involving magic and other powers, fights or just nonsense, both shows deal with a great amount of action, to both, there's also a side of comedy, drama and a bit of romance.  

As well as Psyren as To Aru Majutsu no Index deal with teenagers getting in weird circumstances through new things, in this an unknown "nun"which suddenly hanged over the balcony, and in that one it's a card to use in phone cells. Sounds different? Well it is. BUT! Once they get to know in what situation they are in and in which one they could get in. They accept it and follow the path that is needed. Then some major battles involve, which share the same feeling, as well as the other characters they meet on their paths 

Toru is born into a world where powers are normal, and he is isolated because he has no power. Touma lives in a city where powers are normal, but not quite the majority. He has no 'power' per se, only a strange, unexplainable ability called "Imagine Breaker". They're both really good. 

In both series the main male leads have a power to "break another's imagination (power)" in their right hands. 

Well first of all, the main character has lots of misfortune, but these later lead up to a little harem i guess. Nisekoi however has lot more romance while TAMNI has some romance(sub genre) These manga may be very different but in some aspects they are the same. For example they both have a mc who do stuff for the girls, which makes them like em. 

These two serialisations share a very similar context: characters possess unique abilities which they use for combat; a school built for such characters; a ranking system to determine how strong the characters are; and, a setting specifically built for those who are attending the school. Moreover, the male protagonists of both serialisations are both considered to be low ranked. 

Similarites between these two titles include: supernatural themes and settings; characters who belong to different factions and organisations; male protagonists who are oftentimes surrounded by many females; comedy, romance, and action aesthetics mixed in with some ecchi. 

Similarities include: specialised schools that rank students according to their ability; a male protagonist who is ranked low despite having hidden potential; the many female characters who develop a connection with the male protagonist (both friendship and romantic); and a narrative that utilises magic and action tropes. 

Both of these titles revolve around: characters with unique abilities; a ranking system based on a character's abilities; organisations that primarily involve such characters; and a school that hosts them. 

Similarities between these two titles include: male protagonists who appear seemingly weak, but have unique abilities; a constantly developing harem for the male protagonists; a specialised school that many of the main characters attend; and frequent combat.
