2 strong male characters. They both collect slaves/friends/lackeys who they abuse but take good care of. Both are very funny.

Two strong male protagonists. Their actions influence the people around them and teach them life lessons. GTO is highly regarded as a masterpiece but Hareluya also shines in its own way.

Strong high-school male delinquent leads are a way to sum up both mangas. Lead protagonists in both series are brash, impulsive, smart and strong. Both Sakuragi Hanamachi and Hibino Hareluya are boastful, powerful and really idiotic people. They also are feared by people, but didn't care ... and they would do anything to protect their comrades, and Hareluya's ambition is to conquer the world while Hanamichi's is to conquer bball.

Both are manga that revolve around high schoolers fighting various punks, thugs and, mad men with plenty of romance and comedy inbetween.

Hareluya II boy is a comedic manga just like one piece, however for MUCH more mature people. also, one piece is about luffy trying to become Pirate King, and hareluya ii boy is about Hibino Hareluya trying to conquer the world by fighting everyday punks.

Both stories are about a teenager becoming number 1 with plenty of comic relief.
