The main female characters are a lot alike. Their aggressiveness and motivation. They're funny too.

Both manga star a tomboyish girl that joins a task force of sorts (a library defense force in one case, the policing corps of the Shinsengumi in the other). Due to this, in both there is also quite a bit more action, as well as conflicts of a political nature, than your typical shoujo manga. And in addition, in both the MCs end up having feelings for the superior they look up to (though the romance is much more slow burn in Kaze Hikaru).

The dynamics between the leads are very similar. Both female leads are eccentric yet very driven by their passions, while the male leads come off as stern and gruff but show genuine care for their counterparts regardless.

If you liked Toshoukan Sensou: Love & War, but want to see more of what happened afterwards, then read its "epilogue" sequel manga - Toshokan Sensou: Love & War Bessatsu-Hen.

Both series follow the common theme of libraries and passion for books, but explored in completely different ways with different demographics in mind. Toshokan Sensou's surrounding the protection of books and media against censorship and the impact that words can have with and without the restrictions of censorship. Toshokan no Daimajutsushi surrounds the passion of the bookmaking craft itself.

Dengeki Daisy and Library Wars: Love and War are kind of similar. Both contain action and violence, as well as romance, except in Dengeki Daisy, there's more comedy and the main character doesn't cry as much. There is no computer stuff in Library Wars, but there is a bunch in Dengeki Daisy. In Dengeki Daisy there is no library stuff, either. If you liked the violence and romance Library Wars, you may like Dengeki Daisy.

Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Dokomademo and Toshokan Sensou: Love & War are most similar in their set ups. Both manga start with a young FL being rescued by our ML. In Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Dokomademo the ML helps the FL with her grandmother who collapsed on the street. In Toshokan Sensou: Love & War the ML protects the FL from her books being taken away. In both manga the FL dreams of following in the ML's footsteps being a nurse in Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Dokomademo, and a librarian Toshokan Sensou: Love & War respectively and have idolized the ML.
