Simple, short and light-hearted manga by Arina Tanemura. Both involve romance, comedy, and a protagonist with supernatural powers.

Idol Dreams and Mistress Fortune are both magical-girl-esque shoujo manga created by Arina Tanemura. The main character is a girl who realizes she may have had a crush on a boy she knew for a long time... at possibly the worst timing ever. The two series may be very different in terms of premise and how they explore them, but any longtime fan of shoujo and/or Tanemura should try and give these a shot, at least for the manga-ka's art style, which is as dazzling as ever in either series.

Mistress Fortune and Shugo Chara are two magical girl manga series centered around romance, features a magical boy as well as a magical girl, and have similar appeal with beautiful artwork.

Mistress Fortune and Full Moon wo Sagashite are two shojo manga series made by Arina Tanemura about a magical girl who can transform (though Full Moon features a magical girl idol instead of a magical girl fighter like in Mistress Fortune). Since they are made by the same author, fans of Tanemura will likely enjoy either one as they have beautiful artwork and some sad parts (Mistress Fortune is shorter in length and more light-hearted though).

Both mangas involve a team of girl and a guy fighting off bad guys/things using a power. The girl is incompetent when doing so when the guy excels at it. They both have a scientist/leader that guides them through their mission. However, Magical Hero Hour does not have any romance in it, where Zettai Kakusei Tenshi Mistress Fortune does.

Mistress Fortune and Kamichama Karin are two magical girl series that feature a girl and a boy working together with their magical powers. The boy can be rude at times, but he is somewhat nice to the main character at the same time, and it is clear that the main character likes him throughout the story. Both have wonderful artwork, too.
