The summary, as brief as it is, is a bit misleading. It could easily be said the main character is not the panty thief, but rather the woman he's got handcuffed to the bed in his apartment. The two volumes each deal with a scenario where Akane, the aforementioned woman, is technically trapped. Her mobility is limited in both events and she has to work with the people around her in order to solve the crimes that have occurred. Were it not for the somewhat narrow scope of the manga's theme, I think this manga could have gone on for quite a few more volumes ...
