Utahime Five is a prequel to the video game Drakengard 3 set two years before the events of the game.

Originally I went into watching this while playing Drakengard 3, after beating the first two boss battles I was hoping I'd get some answers as to why Zero hates her sisters so much. Unfortunately this manga doesn't cover this HOWEVER, I do think this is a good starting point to either read before Drakengard 3 or while playing it. In my opinion this was a very sad story, started it mostly because i was exploring the Nier universe and i got into drakengard and so on.

Their back stories are very sad, it was truly captivating learning everything i did from this, it`s not for everyone though, but i highly recommend it. Honestly a really nice piece of work. The ending didn`t feel like it was missing anything or like the story stopped abruptly and it all made sense, ended "completely".
