Eden no Ori (Cage of Eden) and Green Worldz are survival horror stories that deals with unnatural events. The main characters finds their lives at risk after discovering the cruel reality of their new circumstances. Throughout the story, there's a lot of mysterious origins related to the creatures they encounter. There's also significant amount of violence that highlights the survival context of their premise.

Both of the main characters are forced into a life and death situation where survival becomes a prominent aspect as our main characters lives change and they find themselves in a situation where their lives and the rest of mankind is on the brink of destruction/extinction . Also both of the main characters are in search for their loved one

Both of the stories take place in worlds with roaming monsters. Groups of people struggle for survival while these monstrosities are lurking around.

The world becomes a playground full of creatures eating humans. Characters fight for their lives knowing nothing on the monsters and their origins.

Post apocaliptic world after some kind of creature took over japan

Post apocalyptic, struggle for existence where people become refugees and have political strife amongst themselves. Battle for resources leads to desperation, OP enemies that the MCs struggle to beat, decent amount of death throughout, nice art

Both survival mangas with creatures eating humans. Don't get attached to any characters as you never know who's going to survive all the creatures and traps of the "Abyss". In GWZ they have weapons, in Abyss they use Triggers which provide them some superpower (ignite, telepathy, freeze, etc..). Horror, violence, survival, gore rule both mangas! And it's freaking good!!

Both of them are similar because they involve big powerful creatures that are dangerous for the human race. The stories of both of these mangas are different and treat different topics but they give the same feeling when reading them and I am pretty sure you will enjoy one if you enjoyed the other. The art is pretty good in both of them (better in Hakaijuu imo) and the stories are pretty easy to follow.

They are both set in a world where plants are taking over humanity. Main character are both males that wil try to save the world. The plants also begin to move an eat humans. Main character is good at fighting to save friends but also the world, and also have leadership. They have many good moments, where both good an bad things are revealed. Later you might be able to see more similarities as you read them.

Taking place in a fictional world, Green Worldz and Terra Formars delivers survival horror with dangerous monsters that threatens humanity. Both series adapts plenty of graphic violence and action as the main characters battles to survive. Among some of the main characters, a few of them also display inhuman traits. Both series also takes place in a future setting where technology is more superior than our own.

Taking place in a post-apocalyptic setting, both series focuses on a story with survival horror themes. The main characters' lives becomes in jeopardy as they discover the dangers that lives in their worlds. There is a decent amount of mystery elements as well especially with some of the conflicts they encounter. But for any fan of survival horror fiction, you'll be pleased to find that both series' story develops alongside its characters. Each chapter progresses their story as we learn the truth about their worlds.

Both are set in an apocalyptic setting. Both alien forces gather allies in a similar way. Both protagonists are searching for someone important to them. Both have a character named after Neon Genesis Evangelion that loves food and something specific that's consumable. Both reference multiple series and have similarities while building from them. Both have an archer that excels in the sport of archery. Both take friendship seriously without the bravado of the word nakama thrown around. Both brutally rip characters apart you may have attachment to. Both are iconic for portraying there protagonist and heroine under a specific tree. More to come. While Muv-Luv Alternative is a great read the manga isn't finished, either  read more

post apocalyptic world at their finest

World is coming to the end. Group of people trying their hardest to survive. Blood, gore, disgusting monsters. Apocalypse survival at its finest.

Both are about a "Zombie" invasion, except they're actually magical girls and giant insects. They’re also similar in their way of portraying weird ass monsters, all in the same apocalyptic setting. Because of that, there’s obviously lots of gore. If you read them both, you’ll see that everyone dies, even the ones you thought would become main characters. Also, later in the story, they share one particular SF element.
