Both are about a "Zombie" invasion, except they're actually magical girls and giant insects. They’re also similar in their way of portraying weird ass monsters, all in the same apocalyptic setting. Because of that, there’s obviously lots of gore.
If you read them both, you’ll see that everyone dies, even the ones you thought would become main characters.
Also, later in the story, they share one particular SF element.
