Manga: Imawa no Kuni no Alice
In both series, the main protagonist is faced with a life and death situation when their life changes forever as they are transported to an isolated place/space. There is much mystery throughout the series as to their purpose of being sent there but as the story progresses, the truth is uncovered. Both series features some graphic content to highlight the horror of the survival horror genre. In addition, there is an adequate amount of mechanics that we learn from the world they become apart of. Recommended for fans of survival horror.

Manga: Eden no Ori
For starters, the main characters becomes isolated from society and ends up in a world/island (in the case for Eden no Ori) of the unknown. They realize the dangers of their newfound circumstances as there are mysterious obstacles that threatens their life. Both series contains a lot of mystery regarding their worlds as well especially in regards to the characters they encounter. But despite all obstacles, the main characters has a determination to survive. Recommended for any fan of survival horror.

Manga: Ajin
Written by the same author (Miura Tsuina), both series involves a thrilling story for survival. The male characters gets themselves involved in life threatening events that has large impacts of their future. There is also a distinctive amount of story unfolding elements that revolves around the origins of the characters. As both series' story progresses, we see how much the character changes in order to survive. Recommended for fans who are interested in mystery and horror fiction.

Manga: Darwin's Game
When thrown into the world of Darwin's Game and Tenkuu Shinpan, there's little option than to fight for survival. The main protagonist from both series realizes this after witnessing events that changes their lives forever. Indeed, both series' story involves a lot about surviving and discovering the mysterious origins of their settings. Anyone interested in a series with a theme similar to a death game or survival horror fiction may want to give these two titles a try.

Manga: Btooom!
While Tenkuu Shinpan doesn't feature game elements, the main female protagonist does find their own life at stake in an unknown world. Both series crafts survival horror elements by exploiting elements of violence, suspense, and death. The main character has a will to survive and goes to great length to discover the aimless mysteries of their circumstances. There is a thriller-like feeling for each chapter as we find out more about the story and realization that not is what as it seems. Recommended for fans of survival horror fiction.

Manga: Not Lives
The characters find themselves in a twisted game with unclear reward. The game is fought in a city landscape and when there isn't some intense battle happening there tends to be copious fanservice.

The 2 are considered horror stories with tension and moments of fright with interesting premises and protagonists that evolve over time, the characters in these works even hold a lot in the manga besides being a bit bizarre

-both about people trapped in survival world with live/death, kill or be killed,, do whatever to survive situation -both has two MC's in two different perspectives. and oh well ... both manga has little sister character with the name of "yuri" -if you enjoyed one of those,, you'll probably enjoy the other

Manga: Gantz
Both are about people trapped in another world, set up by some mysterious person, with situations that put their lives at risk, enemies and deaths. Tenkuu Shinpan has more shonen style and paranormal powers and gantz has futuristic weapons If you liked one of them you'll probably enjoy the other. Enjoy the reading
