Both manga has some sort of animal/insect type people who battle each-other. Arachnid involves the insect kingdom while killing bites involves animals, and they're both educational of different type of insects/animals. Both are mainly about the girl battling and they're considered real strong, the difference is that in arachnid she is only trying to protect herself and her friends while in killing bites it's some sort of tournament. If you enjoy one, you'll enjoy the other.

Both are based on a fighting tournament with the main characters being a normal person who suddenly gets paired up with a strong fighter participating in the tournament

- Dark and mature themed. - These people transformed first before going into 'fighting mode'. - The origin of these so called 'mutant' or 'hybrid' strength related to the ability of an animal they mutated into. - Sometimes there was also some kind of narration which explain random animal throughout the series.

Basically an updated version of the same concept

These series are enveloped by the same atmosphere, after a few pages of reading Killing Bites I immediately though of Wolf Guy: Ookami no Monshou. They both deal with supernatural creatures and seem to have a kill or be killed undertone. If you enjoyed reading Wolf Guy, I'm sure you'll find Killing bites rather interesting!
