Kyou no Asuka Show and Joshikausei depicts a carefree lifestyle featuring a main female protagonist. There is often a lack of dialogues each chapter as they take on an episodic style. The storytelling is rather ambiguous and doesn't follow any linear arc format. In retrospect, they are more like slice of life series with a decent degree of comedy.

Both of them are about high school girls that end up in hilarious situations. Both are excellent comedies.

Both of them make use of silent comedy. In Joshikausei quite literally there is no dialogue and everything that happens through gesticulations, factial expressions, sound effects or the art to express the situation and it leads to hilarious moments. In Kimi-san, the main female character is quite similar to the entire silent aspect of Joshikausei, except she simply can't talk and that puts her in similarly hilarious situations.

- carefree person - school + comedy - hilarious

No Dialogue. Just a nice little tale of a girl and the friends she comes across. Whether it be really like our earth or fantasy as if it were out of a fairy tale, Joshikausei and Little Little both manage to use their lack of dialogue to still tell wholly passionate stories of an honest deal. Both are good SoL; equal amounts of comedy with ups and down to make it a satisfying read. Very fast reads too, obviously.

Simple SOL series depicting the experiences a young girl as she tackles everyday life. Both series has lighthearted comedy with realism and interactions with others. While lacking complex story arcs, it makes it up with the creative way it depicts everyday life. Joshikausei is noticeable for its absence of dialogues. Recommended for fans of slice of life.

Both series are simple slice of life stories with no complicated story arcs or connections between consecutive chapters. The main protagonist are girls with a cheerful personality who lives their daily life at fullest. There isn't much dialogue in either series but instead has a good deal of lighthearted comedy and visual presentation.

Both are about the daily life of carefree high school students and their vivid imagination, Joshikausei focusing on the life of female characters and Danshi Koukosei no Nichijou in the life of male characters.
