Manga: Basara
Both started with the village being destroyed by the enemy. In Crystal Dragon, the main female character was a druid apprentice. While in Basara, the main female took the role of her twin brother. Both girls went on an adventure to take revenge/ fulfill their "destiny", and got into some romance with the main antagonist (aka their enemy). Story-telling style is similar: both have a mystical air.

Manga: Absolute Witch
Fantasy world shoujo heroines, both with supernatural female protagonists. Beautiful art in both. CD is a reverse harem and AW is a love triangle. CD is a bit darker though.

Manga: Legend of Nereid
If you like one I think you will like the other. Both titles have similar antagonists I think the one in Crystal Dragon is a lot more evil. Both main characters are girls and in both there is somewhat of a love story. Alian from Crystal Dragon has more guys falling in love with here. Both main characters are being hunted down by the bad guy who want them dead (Alian is also being hunted down because one of the villains finds her interesting).

old-style drawing (and storytelling), set in ancient times, strong characters, shojo-style "emotion driven story", strong backup by old civilizations' legends and folklore.
