Other than the obvious similarity in the religious setting of the institutions, both works show a similar interdependent relationship among the main characters, and a small life expectancy for both female leads.

When I read Double Arts, I feel like I'm actually playing the first Kingdom Hearts video game (awesome game, if I may say so). I think it's mainly because the main characters of Double Arts (Kiri and Elraine) are similar to 2 of Kingdom Hearts' main characters (Sora and Kairi): Their hearts are connected. So if you couldn't play Kindgdom Hearts, you can read the manga instead (^^)

Have the same feel. Fantasy situation with simple love. Both have darker stories- Double arts being the sickness and Ann Cassandra murders and such

Both were decent manga with potential but got axed.

For some reason as I read Double Arts, Fairy Tail came into my mind. The stories aren't at all similar (FT is about the random adventures of a guild of mages/ DA is about two people who have to hold hands forever as they look for a cure for a deadly disease) but I felt a similarity in them. I believe it was mostly the characters, the way they acted and reacted to things. Also the setting of them seemed to be similar and the art is somewhat. Still if you like one then you should at least check out the other one.

Zombies and Martial arts? How in the world can these two be related? Ohhhh maannnn you have got nooo idea how similar these two mangas are ;) I didn't see any connection (nor did i have any idea that i WOULD ever see a connection) between these mangas, but after reading a few chapters of Zombie loan (i finished reading double arts first ^^") I started to notice a lot of similarities in both the characters' personality and the situations they are put in :D I don't wanna spoil anything but *cough* like how the lead girl's life is threatened *cough* and she has to  read more

Both require the characters to hold hands or else they die.

Both feature great action, and to me, the most underrated manga I have read been axed (or seem to be axed). And they both end on a high note, seeming to still hold a lot of storyline and potential. One difference is Double Arts is adventure, while Ultra Red is mainly dojo and tournament style.

Double arts is about nun that works to save people from a terrible disease that doesn't have a cure yet.

Although they may not share a similar premise, they do execute their stories in a manner that is light-hearted and fun.

Altough they have a different storyline... When I read Meteod I felt the same atmosphere when I red Double Arts Both manga has a boy as a main character who has superhuman power and both of them wants to "protect everyone" and "save the world". And both manga has an opened end.

Great short-lived fantasy adventure series with spunky characters and a fun, upbeat plot.

Both are about a "sister" that has special healing powers and is greatly valued among the people. DA is more adventure/action while BR is more fantasy/romance. Both still very enjoyable.

They both have the same feel. When I was reading one I always thought of the other.
