Same author/artist and a similar grittiness. Very 'human' characters that make mistakes and are far from perfect.

Both manga are short. W/A is only 6 volumes and YELLOW is only 4. Both manga deal with drugs and yaoi undertones. YELLOW is explicit. W/A is definitely more implied but any yaoi-fan will be able to see and appreciate the beautiful relationship development.

The relationships in both mangas have a similar feel to them; both play on one person being an animal the other picked up. They're both really beautiful mangas.

Vassalord and Wild Adapter are similar in the way the authors develop the relationships of the main characters, their use of humor, and the way the pace the plot that gives the action, drama, romance, and comedy a great balance that helps the reader enjoy all aspects of the story while not being bogged down by one part. Both authors are great at giving the characters depth, and timing events and developments just right. While Wild Adapters is edgier in approach to the story, and Vassalord more focuses on the romance, while Wild Adapter subtly brings it out, both have similar feels and themes. Both manga deal with solving cases and has young male leads with traumatic pasts and a badass side that is hidden behind a smiling, laughing face. They differ in the fact that Wild Adapter has a slight shounen-ai vibe and a bit of supernatural mystery whereas Ouroboros is more "realistic."

Guns, crime, cynicism and a bunch of anti-heroic and villainous main characters.

Both have a gay undertone with a mysterious, smart glasses character and an almost child-like partner. Both have serious and life-threatening moments, but GetBackers has more comedy and light moments than Wild Adapters. They both also have the same kind of feel, if you know what I mean.

Everyone has something to hide. Maybe it’s a past sin or a current feeling, but there are just some things we want left secret in the dark. But rarely is that wish granted. Wild Adapter and Acid Town deal with the shady underbelly of gangs and the drug industry. They are both gritty, dark manga with psychically and mentally abused MCs who learn that there are some things worth living, and even fighting, for. WARNING: Acid Town has yaoi sexual content which is graphic, but not overly anatomically explicit.

Both are rather dark manga, there's an interesting, unspecifed relationship between two main male characters. Both have shounen ai hints. Gohou Drug deals more with the supernatural, while Wild Adapter is more action orientated.

When you read both of them again and again, you'll find out the characters from Bus Gamer were inspiration for the characters from Wild Adapter.

Female-oriented manga with a hardboiled, gritty style. The unexpressed emotions, not exclusively romantic or sexual, between characters are palpable.

For everyone that is dying for more "film noir" kind of mangas: here you are.

Two main protagonists dealing with a drug. The youngest of them seems to have a hidden past involving this dangerous drug, the eldest is trying to discover what it really is. While Kubota/Hal investigates, Tokitoh/Kai accompanies him in his job. Kai and Kubo uses a globe to cover one of their hands. Violence, action, police, drama and a marvelous touch of shonen ai.

Granted, Wild adapter isn't the first thing I think when I look at Luck stealer but hey are similar in many ways. Both the main characters are pretty much assassins and are doing all the can to protect someone near and dear to them.

These action-packed series center around mysterious drugs, but the real draw is the very intricate relationships between characters -- and the yaoi undertones!
