In both Dr. Duo and Kounodori, we have a main male protagonist who is skilled in the medical field. They undertake difficult operations to save lives while demonstrating their experience. Throughout both series, there's an adequate amount of technical terms and mechanics that can be applied to real life medical procedures. Both series retains this level of realism with decent accuracy.

Dr. Duo and Saijou no Meii takes place in a setting with medical themes. Both series' main male protagonist has expertise in the field of medical work as we see their skills. As such, expect the story revolve around dealing with patients in the workplace. There is a great deal of characterization present in both series as we learn about the main characters. And furthermore, we see how dedicated they are with their work to save lives. Dr. Duo has a more shounen style with its storytelling while Saijou no Meii portrays more realism. Recommended for fans of medical fiction.

Medical manga have always involved technical know-how, jargon and suspense filled moments, and it can be said that the best elements of Godhand Teru have been passed on to the manga Dr Duo as we follow a young man saving lives with the help of a genius doctor, who happens to be a ghost!
