Both manga deal with a younger girl older guy romance story. In Tsubaki they live together, in Kunshu somewhat living there. Tsubaki is deeper and Kunshu a bit lighter and more humorous

The main characters are similar with each other in a sense. A female student head over heels with her teacher and a teacher that may not look like they care about the fmc but truthfully, they do.

Coffee & Vanilla is about a 32-year-old business man and a 20-year-old college student. Sensei Kenshu involves a 24-year-old math teacher and a 16-year-old high school student. Both male leads are sexy brunettes. Both heroines are innocent and loyal and initially are inexperienced in love&dating. Both couples involve significant age gaps. Both mangas have a lot of happy and heart-throbbing moments Coffee & Vanilla contains more smut if you don't mind. I love that both mangas don't heavily rely on excessive drama. When there's a conflict, it gets resolved within 1-5 chapters.

The 2nd oneshot (Sensei, Anone. by Haruki Saki) for Kimi to Kyun Koi, Shiyou. and Sensei Kunshu have the same teacher x student relationship. The males are similar as well, being that they both wear glasses and have strict personalities.

These manga have the same spirit, with a hilariously hopless main character and a match who is incredibly intelligent. The dynamic is the same as the guys in both series learns to love a girl that while not their equal intellectually, completes them in ways that are hard for them to understand. The endearing friendship of the Protagonists best friends is also very similar in nature as they cheer on their friends in their loves. Both are also long spanning as Itazura na Kiss goes on into marriage, Sensei Kunshu has so far gone through all of high school and is heading towards a married  read more

Both portray a relationship between a teacher and a student in a lighthearted and hilarious way. Some situations are identical. In both mangas, the student (female) pursues the male teacher.
