S is definitely one of my most fave Yaoi Novels of all time. Really really great.
Story: 9/10
The story is about a detective, Shiiba, who received a mysterious call one day. The call came from a stranger, warning him about his S or what you call a Spy. An S is a member of a crime organization who gives information in exchange for special favors.
In order to work with an S, trust and bond is needed. So when Shiiba received that phone-call, he was confused and suspicion and doubts came over him.
But his S, Andou, died unexpectedly. And only the mysterious caller knows who killed Andou.

Munechika, the mysterious caller, offered a deal to Shiiba. The information in exchange of his body. Though devastated, Shiiba agreed in order to know who the real culprit is.
This series consists a total of 4 Volumes and I must say the story is really amazing. So thrilling and will make you want to read for more. The story will not only revolve in finding Andou's killer though. That was just from the start and as you read more, the story will move you and pull you deeper.
Art: 9/10
I like how Nara Chiharu-sensei drew it. It was so remarkably hot and good. It really brought the realness of the story of Aida Saki-sensei.
Characters: 9/10
I like how the characters were portrayed. Especially Shiiba. I like how he doesn't act too GIRLY like those other uke. And the seme is your.. I guess.. your typical ideal seme. (Well in my case)
Enjoyment: 10/10
Seriously.. do you need to ask? XD I super enjoyed this great piece of work. From Volume 1 to 4. It never failed my expectation. And I was satisfied with the ending.
Overall: 10/10
If you like a Yakuza x Detective type of story, then this is a must read! The story is deep and has a tragic air on it so don't expect a cutesy-cliche scenes because this one is heavy and needs attention. Plus it's explicit in its own way.. I guess. So read at your own risk.
