Both manga center around the pedo relationships between a teenage school girl, and a man well into his 30s. In both stories, it's the girl who makes the first move onto the older man. But while Don't Cry is not meant to be taken seriously, Lip Smoke is the opposite.

An unusual (and let's face it - paedophilic) relationship develops between a teenage girl and a man well into his 30s. Both are short stories and you'll easily finish reading them within half an hour. I'm not a fan of shoujo, but both these stories were too adorable for me to not like them.

In both mangas a high school student gets related with a reclusive writer who is much older than the girl. Both heroines are smart and mature. And of course, this aged man is the main love interest.

When I read Lip Smoke it really reminded me of Houkago x Ponytail since they are so simiral. In both manga: -the female protagonist is a high school girl -the male protaginst is a writer -the female protaginists become their assistants -both girls fall for them -they both have to face many obstacles -both males are a little perveted (P.S. this was my first recommendation, please be a little forgiving! >.< I hope I helped you! )

Similarities: - age gap -pure love but with a mature atmosphere. -art (kinda) -girl helps guy with job -plays off stereotypes/cliché situations e.g. high school girl and newly-weds etc. differences: -lip smoke has the girl pursuing the guy but in 007 it is opposite -007 has some supernatural themes

Similar age gaps, personality-wise; the main females are both smart and straight-forward.

Shoujo manga with older men as love interests. The girls are serious, sharp, and mature, but struggle to be taken seriously as women.
