Both of these mangas are about a shop or cafe with a mysterious owner, which gets mysterious customers. These episodic manga's are about the stories connected to the customers, and sometimes to the owners. Both have a mysterious horror feeling, and both are an awesome read.

mainly if you're looking for stylistically striking art with unique paneling layouts and beautiful detailed illustrations. additionally if you like magical/supernatural setting with a touch of mystery, witches and fortune tellers. the premise is very different, but in both main character seeks for a way to reverse back to normal the body function that was forcefully altered in one way or another.

Fantasy stories where the heroine gains the help of a devil. A mixture of romance, mystery and adventure. Tarot Cafe feels darker than Masca at times, with the latter being more comedic and light-hearted, and has a deeper plotline and background story.
