Every manga that focuses on the delinquent life or similar (bosozoku also included). Note: Mangas that contains delinquents but aren't about delinquents won't be included, such as Slam Dunk, Yu Yu Hakusho and Beelzebub. I'll order by the ones I consider to be the most important to the genre. This is not a definitive list, I can and probably will be forgetting some mangas. Also, I won't put every single Crows/Worst side-story (because there is more than 15 so far).

Not including the old-fashioned bandit/proto-delinquent mangas such as Otoko Ippiki Gaki Daishou (Motomiya Hiroshi has several mangas like that), Gakuran Hachinegumi, Banchou Wakusei and Yuuyake Banchou.

If you haven't read any of these yet, I recommend Kiku and Bakuon Rettou as starters.

Some mangas are not available to read, but I put here hoping someone who reads japanese gets interested enough to start a project translanting the manga.

No. 111 is Gekiga Ningen Kakumei by Isami Ishii, which started on Jan. 2nd, 1989 with 56 volumes and ended in Feb. 11th, 2003 in Seikyo Shougakusei Shimbun (daily).

No. 116 is Sake no Hosomichi by Roswell Hosoki, which started in 1994 with 52 volumes & 998 chapters in Weekly Manga Goraku.

No. 128 is Naze ka Shousuke by Hideo Hijiri, which started in 1982 with 51 volumes & 570 chapters in Big Comic Superior (semimonthly).

No. 129 is 4P Tanaka-kun by Taro Nami & Sanbanchi Kawa, which started in 1986 with 51 volumes & 459 chapters in Weekly Shonen Magazine Akita Shoten.

No. 134 is Hocho Mushuku by Yasuyuki Tagawa, which started in 1998 with 50 volumes & 302 chapters in Weekly Manga Goraku Nihon Bungeisha.

No. 142 is Gambling Racer by Makoto Tanaka, which started in 1988 with 46 volumes & 477 chapters in Weekly Morning Kodansha.

Obviously there are too many manga set in Tokyo to list all in one stack, precedence is given to those that highlight unique Tokyo shitamachi or culture.

At least one main female character is physically strong, preferably the protagonist.

Physical strength applies both to hand-to-hand combat and proficiency in wielding weaponry (marksmanship, swordsmanship, archery etc.) as well as ability and talent in a physical sport.

No magical/supernatural power allowed unless it enhances physical strength.

A shoujo manga means a comic published in a magazine targeted towards the young female demographic (under 18) in Japan.

Josei means a comic published in a magazine targeted towards the adult female demographic in Japan.

Female characters that possess mental fortitude and don't break under pressure. They must have great resilience in the face of difficult or dangerous situations or even tragedy. They don't have to be super smart or geniuses, mental fortitude/stoicism is what matters. Preferably physical strength isn't their main characteristic but their mental fortitude.
