Both series feature female robots who are sometimes more humane than the humans around them. They were created as experiments to make robots more like humans. They attend school and develop deep connections with others.

Both manga have robots as their main characters. Both robots want to look for the meaning of the same thing.

Deals with a prosthetic-person, and how they adjust to their lives. Made In Heaven is a tragedy, and Katakuri Odette is comedy.

A cute, curious, young robotic girl goes through her life the best she can while learning and making friends and, maybe, more then friends. Chobits has more of a older and mysterious look whilst Karakuri Odette is more relaxing and funny feel. Both are amazing and worth you're time!

They generally have the same theme. Androids made by Professors who are sent to school to learn more about being "HUMAN", the also have their male counterpart.

Both are sweet slice of life storys, one is about trying to become human the other about being a better person.

Both involve romance with robots. Karakuri Odette is a light hearted, comedic manga while Hal is a more bitter sweet, meaningful manga. They both are amazing reads and I highly recomend both.

Even if it haven't that CLAMP's touch karakuri odette will make you feel the same, the story are thus different, the main caracter is somewhat similar being cheerful and always friendly. You will discover that those kind of manga are able to heal not only the other caracters but also people like you and me. So read it and smile you too.
