Like so many good mangas this had the potential to be great. It loses out to it's story by the end of the series.

Rin! is about a young man who chases his dream of becoming a mangaka. It shows him from the beginning of his trial and briefly shows the aftermath of him chasing his dreams.

Art: It's good and you can tell that this is from the author who made Beck.

Story: It was interesting in the beginning but as we begin to come to final arc of the series it leaves you frustrated. The romance isn't develop quite how I would like it to ... have been. There's no certainty in the romance which is a bit similar to Beck in that regard.

This is a good manga for any artist and writer who are interested in working in comics/manga or people chasing their dreams.

I am actually quite disappointed with how Rin turned out. The story definitely had potential but it feels quite unfocused unlike Sakuishi-sensei's other works, such as Beck. For most of the story, it felt like it was a mix of Bakuman and Rin's adventures with her power along with a touch of bad love triangle, and they didn't really mix very well.

There wasn't a lot of romantic development between Rin and Fushimi and by the end, it just felt like they got together just because it was convenient, especially on Fushimi's side. Throughout the story, we saw something of a ... love triangle develop and true to the harem cliche, Fushimi was never able to pick between Rin and his high school love. At the end, it felt like rather than chosing Rin, he went with her because the other girl gave up and got a real boyfriend and also because of him and Rin's past, rather than their current feelings. It felt very unsatisfying to say the least.

Fushimi's advancement as a mangaka also wasn't very exciting, unlike in Bakuman. There wasn't really any big hitches along the way outside of the whole erotic manga era and this is probably due to how unfocused the story is. But even the whole erotic manga era felt too similar with Bakuman and their whole gag manga stint.

The art is as expected of Sakuishi-sensei, the important characters are somewhat pretty while the rest of the cast is butt ugly. Not sure if Sakuishi-sensei is tryiing to say something here, but I won't speculate further as it isn't really something that he explored in the story.

this is my first time ever i write review on this site.
one word this manga is fascinating why do i say fascinating you ask because it's a manga that have a lot of genre for example mystery, supernatural, little bit of comedy and slice of life.

i don't wanna give away too much but i will give you hint about the story main character likes to draw manga and wants to be mangaka but everybody know in real life everything doesn't come easy and that is exactly what this manga portrays and believe me when you read this you might love it ... but unfortunately it has only 37 chapter as of right now 01/09/2016 but it already have 12 valume but don't know how many chapter is in 12 valume so i hope the Groups Scanlating would continue to update.
