Mixed Feelings
An anime that promises to be about super high school kids isekaid into another world where they can fully exploit their talents in a world that lagged far behind technologically, or it would've been if some bad plot about some overzealous psycho small fry governor who just refuses to croak didn't take over half the series.

Initially, the characters agree to take it easy lest they destroy the world, but then they spent the entire series doing just the opposite.

After Nodame Cantabile, one of my most favorite manga, I was expecting a lot out of this series from Ninomiya-sensei. I happen to be very big on computers too, so I was excited to see what was in store. Ultimately, I was very surprised that this series took the complete opposite direction from Nodame and became one of the worst manga I've ever read.

There wasn't a lot of romantic development between Rin and Fushimi and by the end, it just felt like they got together just because it was convenient, especially on Fushimi's side. Throughout the story, we saw something of a ...

Mixed Feelings
This is a vastly overrated show that doesn't deserve it's high ratings. The story progresses only through the plot that came straight out of Ghibli movies. It's funny how many described this show as believable/realistic when the story's foundation is a mess of fantasy, incorporating the other world where we get talking sea-men, talking fire spirit, and eventually, tentacled alien invasion to wrap up the show. To add insult to the injury, over half the characters in the show can turn around from participating in a manhunt to turning completely around without batting a single eye. Said victim and bodyguard who ...
