I was actually rather disappointed to find out that this isn't a boy's love manga. Seriously, the amount of UST between Kotarou, Tatsuki, & Yuuto is just so obvious. I didn't know that subtext could be this texty. I like this manga very much, despite the fact that the storylines became rather repetitive & stale as the series went on.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE angst so this is a PERFECT WIN for me!! I recommend it to anyone interested in yaoi/shonen-ai.

The tention between Tatsuki feelings towards Kotaru was intense and I just looooove reading the first half. Althrough it was great for the plot, watching Tasuki struggle so much tugged at my heart string and made me cry so many times. I was worried about the ending but I am VERY happy. ^_^

I will admit I was disappointed that this was NOT a yaoi manga but I could really feel each of the main 3 emotions towards one another. Plus ... I LOVE the snarky remarks such as "hello to you to shineshine" to the ever so brooding Tatsuki!!!

The animation is good at certain points but Tatsuki design is so VERY hawt and Kotaru is VERY cute and I can't image the series w/o the playboy Yuuto. It is neat that EACH character has a useful power that helps one another.

I actually finished this a couple of months ago, but considering there are no reviews written for this, I'll try my best at making a suffiecent one.

Hands Off!’s story, I think, is what attracted it to me the most, and the characters. Everything about it seems so unique, unlike other manga I’ve read. It’s mainly about the relationship between three people, Kotarou, his cousin Tatsuki, and Yuuto, their classmate. They’re just ordinary school boys living their lives… okay, not really. Kotarou has the power to influence other people’s powers, and possibly ESP for healing, but he is unaware of this. Tatsuki, much to his dismay, ... developed post-cognitive powers after merely touching Kotarou in their childhood days. Yuuta has the power to sense and determine people’s feelings by examining their aura. Normal? Not so much, no. But very interesting.

Tatsuki’s powers have caused him to be a little less than friendly to his happy-go-lucky cousin, causing a large wall to form between to the two. However, he comes to terms with strong feelings towards Kotarou, making him unable to cast the blame towards him. What I really love are the character interactions, definitely, not so much the action throughout the story (which there is plenty).

The art is a little iffy to me, sometimes, but other times I see a lot of displayed skill… especially in the emotion in the story, and the way the characters are drawn. I can see why people may dislike it, though I liked it anyway, even if it is not my favorite of art styles.

The characters are not only well-developed, but likeable and interesting too. I liked Kotarou—he’s very willing to help people, and does not like to be a burden. Often he’s made fun of on account of his feminine face, though in later chapters it appears as some of the tormenters regretted their actions. Tatsuki is different- you either like him or you don’t. I liked him, and sympathized with him. He was harsh and indifferent towards Kotarou, though he deeply cared for him. Yuuta was a funny character, the flirty and obnoxious type. Kotarou also grew on him and they became good friends. There are the less major characters as well (though still significant) such as Mio, Kotarou’s girlfriend, or Kazuma, the deranged adolescent who had developed ESP thanks to touching Tatsuki when they were little.

This manga will not please all, but it was enjoyable for me, so I’d say give it a try.
