The art for this manga was very good. I found the cover interesting so I decided to read it. Man was I ever disappointed! If you've read Hellsing this will probably seem AWFULLY familiar. It almost feels like the characters from the story were pulled out, given different clothes and names, and put in an ecchi high school.
If you've never read Hellsing and enjoy manga where there's nonstop action, then that image of an already done story won't be ruined for you and perhaps you may even enjoy Jack Frost. If you have then chances are you probably wont find this near as enthralling.

I have never been one for reading Manga/Manhwa/Manhua of the Supernatural genre, but i have to say, this is the greatest one I have read so far!!
Story: 6 after reading various other Supernatural stories, the story seems kind of boring, but it does show some very good fighting scenes, so that's why i gave it more than a 4 Art: 10 the art in Jack Frost is amazing, the way that the Jin-Ho Go can show the characters emotions and thoughts is spectacular. very very good artwork Character: 8 the characters are very good in Jack Frost, the characters have been portrayed so that we don't know everything about them ... I'm really tired of people writing bad reviews of Jack Frost just because they assume it's a "Hellsing Rip Off" The story is fantastic, the art is gorgeous and very detailed. Granted...the manwha is not for everybody! It contains a looot of gorey and panty shots, so what? I'm really hooked on this manwha. One of the best I've read so far.
The only one publishing it is Yen Press so I suggest you get your hands on it and start reading it instead of band wagoning like the rest of the idiots here just because it's cool to hate on something that's been done ... Jul 29, 2010
A small handful of colorful characters, which is opposed to regularly appear ill-wishers. At the head of this bunch is fond of power lady - Helvina (I would say Lady Hellsing). Next in the hierarchy - all-powerful, but because bombastic Alu ... Sorry ... always grinning Jack Frost. Suddenly, in this nice company appears Joo - immortal, but useless girl. What can I say about her? Hmmm ... Loses his head from any troubles. ^ ^ Read the first chapter, I could not escape the thought that I read something like Hellsing. I guess I would call it as something like "Hellsing: High School", yeah!

Let me say this first, Saying this series is exactly like Hellsing isn't true, while it does have the feel, but Stories aren't the same. It does have two characters that remind you of two characters in Hellsing but overall, everything is original.
Story - 7 The Story is kinda lacking especially since its feel like there should have been more but sadly there isn't "for reasons". Its very interesting but it may leave people confused Art - 9 The Art is awesome, How the characters look and Feel is very well done Enjoyment - 10 Battles are awesome, and the World is very interesting. Jin-Ho, ... Apr 21, 2019
Interesting manwha if you liked Hellsing and similar things where a bunch of crazy people want to fight and kill each other.
I would tag this with: - Action - Dark - Horror (mostly gore, there is no psychological horror) - Supernatural Story: 5/10 While the start is nothing too special, it does get quite interesting towards the end, where certain characters finally begin to evolve and change / develop. Unfortunately, this all comes to a quick end, because the story ends right as the female MC becomes more interesting. ... Jan 10, 2019
I really liked Jack Frost. It definitely had some issues, big ones, but I enjoyed it. It also was annoyingly similar to Hellsing, in the sense that Jack and Alucard are basically the same person.
Story 6: Jack Frost starts out super slow. Girl transfers to new school, sees creepy guy she labels "Smirky," takes her seat, and all hell breaks loose. Her head comes off but she doesn't die. Cue first mystery that takes forever to be fully fleshed out. Literally half the story. Now, there's nothing inherently wrong with that, however, this felt more like the author wanted to write a ton of action ... |
