This a love story, through and through, but it's not a romantic love story. There's love yes, but there's also manipulation, betrayal, and insecurities. It's a story about real, human relationships. We fall in love, we beg, we plead, we fall out of love, break up, cry and try to find ways to deal with the pain and then get right back together again to repeat the same cycle.Sometimes, our words don't come out the right way. We make mistakes. We hurt each other. These are all part of real, true relationships and it's because the manga delves into those things that I love it.

It ... is truly a story full of plot twists. It does get frustrating at some point because the answer to the character's problems seem so clear even though they can't see it. But isn't that life?

The pacing is slow and there is lots of character development. The only thing that keeps me from giving the manga a ten all around is that I simply despised the ending. And yeah, it's maybe a happy ending but it isn't the ending I wanted. But what can I do?

Overall, if you can bear with some weird translations and the slow pace and the frustrations that the characters' decisions bring (more than once I wanted to punch the hell out of the main character, Takaaki), then you'll have a pretty good manga on your hand.

This manga had everything I like and dislike the most in Nitta Youka's works: The angst, drama, characters, but at the same time it's always frustating how the story kept going in circles. It's not a slow paced story even though it centers on the same thing from begging to end.

This story starts off by Takaaki's point of view and life as a host, but by the second volume, we already have five main characters.
Being centered in the hosts lifestyle doesnt change the fact that this story is all about the characters, their feelings, decisions. I kept wondering what would their next move be. It ... shows how selfish a person can be and how much they can hurt one another trying to find their own happiness.
Everything was a big competition of egos. It shows the pain and insecurity of having a one sided love; of being with someone that loves someone else, and how different the vision of love is through each individual's eyes.

This manga did not have the end I wanted, but the one I expected. But from what i learned about these guys, through these 52 chapters is that, fortunately or unfortunately, this probably isnt an end set in stone.
