The daily life of husbando and waifu relationship.

Both manga involve multiple alien species coexisting on Earth. Both manga involve romance between a human male and an alien female. Both manga have slice-of-life elements and "explaining Japanese customs to aliens" aspects. Kumika no Mikaku is a little more food-based and less focused on romance, Yome ga Kore na mon de is a little more ecchi and has nothing to do with food.

Both series Have the main Character Married to an alien, Yome ga kore focuses more on the married life between the couple and in onegai teacher the character marries to the alien in order to keep her position as a school teacher, but slowly start to fall in love with her.

Both sitcoms, Okusan is centered around the housewife and her daily life, and Yome ga is centered around both the husband and his alien wife. In Okusan, the housewife wants to make herself better for her husband, while in Yome ga, the housewife wants to be able to live a normal life to put her husband at ease. The female leads are lovable and just want the best for their relationship, but usually end up getting caught up or run into obstacles. Different approaches to a sitcom, but the female leads give off a similar, cheerful vibe.
